I like my truck the way it is, and plan to keep the exterior mostly stock. It looks great as is, and it doesn't need 22"s like other trucks to set it off. Also, I don't want to attract any more attention then it already gets. Besides, here in L.A. everybody and their brother has big rims on their SUV or full size and it gets a little repetitive. Not to mention the harsher ride and extra load on the drivetrain.

I come from a mini-truckin' background, and I've had enough of hanging up on speedbumps and dented wheels every other week. I will upgrade my audio/video system though; I'd rather fix up the inside then the outside, since that's where most of my time w/ my truck is spent!

I've been through the lifting/lowering/bigger rims stuff before (hey, remember when 16 were big?) and maybe I'm just getting old... I'm sure I eventually get a bug up my a$$ to start modifying things (hmmm... an exhaust system is starting to sound really good, now if I can only sweet talk the wife...).

Faster, faster, faster! Take it to the track, and run it. Once you do it the bug will get ya. I can see it now. 3months later the spares gone, tow package, exhaust is stripped, and that fancy bed organizer is in the back yard. All for 3tenths. It may not be yours, but give it 2yrs, and you will see titans on this board doing that stuff.

I'm sure there are guys doing it already, they're just out there doing it, instead of hanging out on forums, heh!

I'll be cutting and welding as soon as parts are available. So far, all my additions or subtractions have been for better MPG - so far, so good..... ( I hope I spelled everything correctly, don't want the "spelling police" after me! )

Theres a fine line to be crossed between good taste and guaddy. Bolt ons look good to a point, but when you get to many, it just makes the vehicle look cheasy. The real trick is to modify things in a way that make it look like its factory. I dont know if its the So-Cal in me or what, but I prefer the clean look. Maybe us Titan owners know what good taste is?
I was just filling up next to a new Ram CC that had 22's, and enough stuff bolted and stuck on that it made me sick to my stomach. As I walked by I peeked inside and saw three carseats and 4 kids and an old fat lady driving. Sorry about that, its just one of those things that has been stuck in my head since lunch.
Over here in Hawaii, I can see what he is talking about, most of the Rams are keeping the local aftermarket in business, while the Titans are mostly stock.
Man, Im still irratated by that Dodge

Why?
Because big shiny blingin' wheels and rubber band tires don't belong on trucks.

I too am waiting a bit for more parts to come out. I know the Titan's sales numbers don't match the big three's so it's gonna take some time for the aftermarket to really jump on the band wagon.

Sounds like the words of an old-school off-roader....

I'm starting to see guys around my part of teh country with lift kits, and 20: chromes wrapped in 325/55/20 Nitto TerraGrapplers....

I'm not into the lifted deal, but man- the ones I've seen look real nice.
Besides, 18" wheels are only 2" from being cool (20).

the only mods i have are my performance mods. i plan to do some visual stuff as soon as save up enough again. i was thinking about stuff to do visually but as someone else already mentioned anything i do won't really be that different here in Socal, where everyone seems to already have a tricked out SUV or truck, they are everywhere. if anything ill get a billet grill, thats all ill really consider at this point. no 22's or bigger tires.

My mods are purely visual as you can see in my signature and on my CarDomain photo pages.
