Fellow Titan owners with the Big tow pkg....

Did your truck come with the hitch, ball, and trailer plug? I did not get any of these things with mine, all I have is the actual reciever part under the bumper. A buddy with an Xterra said he got a box of stuff with his factory tow package, including the hitch and ball, and trailer plug adapter.

Nope just came with the receiver hitch and the seven pin wiring connector that is attached to it.

Here is a ball mount that I have and find really versatile (it is called the Rapid Hitch):

They do not. Had to buy a 7-4 adaptor at Tractor Supply. Think it cost me $5

Not certain it makes sense for the hitch and ball also. There are various multiple types of hitches (I needed a 6" offset) and multiple types of balls (1-7/8, 2, etc.). Not certain Nissan would satisfy the customer by guessing which to put on.

Thanks for the info, now I'll go get one, just wanted to make sure I wasn't robbed before I spent the cash on one

When my factory tow hitch was added, a class IV solid steel draw bar (ball hitch) was part of the kit. It had no offset to it (strait out). Useless for me, as with above thread, I needed a 6" drop.

I just bought my Titan a couple of weeks ago and it came with all of that. I got the ball, the hitch, and the wiring harness. It was all in little boxes tucked away under the back seat.

I can see it now, there is a stampede of owners running out to their truck to look under the back seat...

Hey Bwalker, where did you get that Rapid Hitch. That looks great. I found it at $139, is there a better deal?

Yep, I'm on the way tomorrow. Also going to get my missing coin holder. Thanks for asking!!

FYI, Mansfield, TX Walmart has an excellent selection of Reese hitches, prices hard to beat.

I picked it up locally, but if you do a search (which I guess you did), I remember seeing one for as low $129 - also I remember one of the sites having free shipping. The Rapid Hitch weighs 18 lbs (billet aluminum). I allows for up to 6 inches of adjustant up or down (12 inches total) and can be ordered with either 2 and 2 5/16 inch balls or 1 7/8 and 2 inch balls.

Oh and it is rated at 10,000 lbs too.

strange - what exactly was in the boxes? - certainly not the hitch itself right?
