No Power Steering!!!

My power steering went out last monday. Put it in the shop on tuesday and they told me it may be a while before I get it Back (up to 4 weeks, Dont have any parts)!! The are in "contact with the TechLine". They think they have it narrowed down to a Valve or a gear in the pump. They gave me a nissan Altima to drive. How AM I GONNA PULL MY BOAT!!! I think nissan should give me a comparable VEHICLE (TITAN) to drive or Pay my truck note for the month. IS THAT POSSIBLE???

I would explain to the dealer that you had planned on pulling your boat, I don't think it would be unreasonable for them to give you somthing for that purpose.
luck,
Daryl

I keep hearing stories like this! It's really disturbing. The typical we need to order the part! To wait 4 weeks for a valve or gear in the pump is ridiculous. Can't they replace the whole pump? Keep us posted on what happens. - Take Care!!

Our dealer had our truck for the first 41 days out of the first 58 days. They did, eventually, provide us with a rental truck (Ford F-150) which we were unable to tow with due to contractual obligations.

At arbitration, the Nissan representative threw the rental truck thing in our face! Had I known the rental would have been used against us, I would have told them to stick it.
