I have a 2002 Yamaha WR250F that I occasionally race a hare scramble with. My 10 year old daughter has a 2004 Kawasaki KX85 she races motocross with. I have CC so the tail gate obvioulsy will not close. I have a bed extender but I have yet to figure out how to get both bikes loaded and still use the bed extender. Has anybody ever loaded two bikes in a CC Titan and used the bed extender?

I can get 2 full size MX bikes in with the bed extender, no sweat.

What is your loading procedure? I don't have the utility track system so I don't know how the extender works with that. On my truck I have to lower the tailgate, put the extender in the "up"position, slide the tabs in the brackets on both sides, and then flip the extender down on the tailgate. If I have the bikes loaded there is not enough room between the fenders and rear tites of the bikes to put the extender in the "up" position so it can slide into the brackets.

I had the same problem, I just rounded off the posts slightly so the extender goes in at a 60 degree angle instead of straight up. The clearance at the back of the rear tire is tight also, especially with a new tire, this is solved by making sure the tiedowns are pulled really snug, to pull the bike as far forward as possible. The extender can then go to the down position (just rubs on tire slightly). This is with the bike straight back, a little more room can be gained by shifting it sideways a bit.

Thanks I'll try that. I don't think I'll have the bike length issue you have though. My WR250 is a little shorter than your CRF450. By the way I have ridden a 2003 CRF450. That is one awsome machine! Probably my next bike.
