yup ordered mine Dec 29 2003 took delivery Mar 27 2004. It started to sound like the running gag from 'The Money Pit', two weeks two weeks.
I checked on Nissan's website every day to see if any dealer in town had one yet. It finally came in, I knew it before the dealer! did you try looking yourself?
They are at full production now, I wouldn't think it would take that long to locate a truck for you.

At least the stealership was up front with me from the get go. They couldn't find the truck I wanted anywhere. They just said, put down a deposit, we'll order it, and you will have a 90 day wait. This was June 1. Maybe production is ramped up now. Although, after those Nissan gurus visited the plant to do some QC a$$ kicking, who knows what that may do to production. As long as my truck is built right, I really don't care if it takes every bit of 90 days.

Yes I have looked for myself to see if anywhere around me they had the model and options I wanted. I also looked where my parents live to see if there was on around them. I am thinking if this is going to take 3 months should I wait for the 05's??? I also think I am going to tell the dealership (stealership) that I want a little lowwer price. Maybe throw in the hood deflector and floormats for free.

This kinda happened to me. Put $1k in their hands to buy a truck that was 400miles away. Next afternoon they said it was sold...tried another...sold. Then my options came down to 2 trucks, one with no off-road but in the color/interior combo I wanted, and the other with offroad but diff color. I went with the color/interior combo, since I can easily make my truck offroad on my own, with better parts.

So, this was last Tuesday. On wed we decided on the one they could get, and I was told it would be picked up Thursday. I called Friday, didn't go down, would leave sunday, have it back and ready monday. Saturday 9pm get a call, "we are leaving Tuesday morning you will have truck wednesday." Call monday, you will have it Wed or Friday. At this point I get pissed, he promises it will be tomorrow.

In all fairness it isn't their fault entirely. The dealership this is coming from is WAY out of state and they refused to do a car exchange, so my salesman promised to go down and get it personally as soon as he could get a ride down. He also promised NOT to speed or keep it in cruise control, and I don't know why but I believe him.

Gollem, do you have the 1.9% financing? If you do BE CAREFUL. The interest rate you get doesn't lock in until you take delivery, and there is no telling if they will continue to extend the 1.9%.

Your point about the 05s is well taken. By the time you take delivery the 04s will be cheaper than what you are paying.

90 days at this point in the year I would wait for the 05's rather than buy an 04 that will be almost a year old,(as far as resale and ins value are concerned), when you take delivery. This could make a lot of difference selling or trading in a few years. Also I would hope that the 200 engineers from Japan might smooth out the production with better QC in 05. Also you may have different options on packages in the next model and get what you really want on it without having to pay for options you don't want to get the ones that you do want.

Used to travel often to Loudonville - about 5 hours drive from here. Have you considered searching Zip 03857 on the Nissan Website's "Design and Search" feature? My truck was ordered from Somersworth Nissan, my son's came from Port City Nissan (I found it at a dealer in Maine, they immediately went and got it). Both these dealers were great. Be happy to give you salesmen's names.

A couple of things I learned from my dealer.
1. 2005s will be comming out in October.
2. At the start of July they stopped all production I believe until July 12th (probably because of visiting engineers)
3. Nissan was on track to produce 100k Titans in 2004. They are currently only on track to sell 50k. This probably means more incentives rather then less the longer you wait.
I am not surprised by your wait time but I think you should ask your dealer to do something for you for the inconvenience. Also on the bright side, if they are building you a new one, perhaps it will have fewer problems then the rest of us are having (ex. RF problems, AC problems, breaks, tailgates, etc.)
Good luck!

I had a horrible time with somersworth Nissan, Nissan is damn lucky i'm not driving a tundra(i'm lucky too hehe), anyways they stole $500 from me, imo had no intentions of ever getting me a truck. They initially told me they have my truck in 3 days, well after 2 months I wanted my money back, which they would not give me. Worst part is I have a friend that works there, he even told me they were crooks, I wish i would have listened.

Peters Nissan in Nashua has the best selections of Titans in the North East, They have the biggest inventory, most are in a warehouse and were a huge improvement to work with vs. the above mentioned. Your lucky to escape a deal with somersworth nissan with your wallet intact, if your not careful they'll snag your watch too when your not looking.

Gollem, search on Nashua, NH or Manchester, NH in the Nissan web site's Design & Search feature. No ZIP code needed. Although I looked at Peter's Nissan inventory many times while searching for my son's Titan, I've never been to their store. Supratitan's experience at Somersworth was completely opposite of mine. They really howled, though when they found out my son and I bought a second Titan from a nearby competitor. Anyway, if you find the truck you're looking for somewhere over here, it's not a bad drive, really. Getting the truck you want is what's important.

I had an OK experience at Sommersworth Nissan. They actually had invoice minus $1k prices written on their Titan's windshields. After doing an inventory search for a Titan with Airbags (and finding none in the NE region) they said they could order me one. Seemed like straight shooters. They did try to sell me an extended cab with airbags, when I am looking for a crew cab.

I had a good experience at Merchants Nissan in Concord, until we started talking numbers. The salesmans previous offer of invoice minus $1k evaporated to invoice + $500 and they offered less than before for my trade. So I walked. It was actually the sales manager(weasel) who blew the deal. The salesman was cool, letting me take 3 different Titans out. Last trip he gave me and my girlfriend $20 for a coffee run to Dunkins and we drove around for 45 minutes really getting the feel of the truck!

Back in 1997 I had a bad experience at Peters in Nashua. They actually threatened legal action when my girlfriend decided not to buy an Altima we had negotiated on!

And Team Nissan in Manchester treated me equally bad in 2003. After putting down $500 for them to get me a vehicle, the salesman I was working with quit or was fired. Luckily I used a credit card for the $500 deposit, so I was able to dispute the charges after repeated calls to Team Nissan were not returned.

Damn Bill we are neighbors lol, do you have a titan. I'm in Deerfield pretty frequently. I guess you just have to be careful with any dealers, there all pretty shaddy. Glad I got it all over with and couldn't be happier with my Titan.

SupraTitan I think I drove by you Sunday night on Strafford road, at about 7:50PM. I'm up at the NH Army National Guard training site doing some military duty.

Saw a big Titan going toward Strafford, while I was on my way home for the night!

No Titan yet. I am looking for one with the side airbags since I am a safety freak. Since none are available I will probably order one, and I will most likely wait until the 05 models are out at this point in time.
