How wide is the Titan?

I am in negotiations on a Titan KC right now, but I am concerned about the overall width with the Big Tow Mirrors. The garage door is 96" wide, and the brochure states 78.8", but does that include the Big Tow Mirrors?.

Does anyone park a Big Tow through a single stall garage door? Does it fit without folding in the mirrors?

Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this!

Overall width w/o mirrors 78.8
Overall height (4x2/4x4) 75.0/76.6

I think that you would have to fold at least one mirror in to get it in an 8 foot wide door. My garage has an approximately 106" opening, and I clear by 3-4 inches on each side.

Daschtick, I measured my Big Tow mirrors on my King Cab. They measure 98 inches (outside to outside), and they are not extended in the tow mode.

tape a piece of string on the out side each mirror long enough to touch the ground and run a measuring tape under the truck from string to string. I did this to get my reg mirrors in a ft door. If the mirrors are not in the two mode it should fit but it will always be a close fit. I would not let my wife park the truck in the garage. Good luck.

WOW - This thing is huge!

So tonight, I brought home a Titan to see what it was like at home. It will fit in my garage, but I have to fold at least the drivers mirror to do it.

Now I am almost wondering if it is too big? It's a real challenge to park, both at home, and in parking lots. I am so accustomed to my car that there would be a definite learning curve required.

Size Matters: Too big? It is all in what you are accustomed to. I used to drive a 1984 Nissan King Cab (you know, the only year that said Nissan on one side of the tailgate, and Datsun on the other). It was a lot smaller than my new Titan King Cab. After that, I bought a 92 Chev Silverado Extended Cab 4x4. It seemed really big at first, but after owning it, I never wanted to go back to a small truck again. The Titan is more nimble than the full sized Chevy, and easier to park too...It is all what you get accustomed to. Some guys put up with nagging wives...something that I would never become accustomed to...

You will find lots of uses for a big truck if you own one. This one happens to be fast and fun to drive...so I consider it to just be an oversized sports car, that you can tow with...
