Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know me, Speak-Freak (aka David) and SuperTitanMan (aka Noah) went to the California Speedway and had a great time yesterday. There were 16 hemis there! anyways we did very well, David took some pictures of all the hemis together and took a few pics of our TITAN's together, hopefully he will post them in the next few days. my best time was a 15.5 at about 101 degrees, lol. so i improved .2 off last time i went. the QC hemis were running high 15's with exhaust and intakes. the regular cab hemis were running low 15's with intake, exhaust. the modded ones were running high 14's. there was a silverado running high 15's too. the heat was really affecting the times. anyways it was very fun, these trucks really are neck and neck guys, dont be afraid to take a hemi!! trust me you can!

Very good showing by the titans yesterday. Hung right there all day long. 21 pulled one out head to head against hugo and although hugo had a lower et and higher speed 21 got the light at the end so congrats man. About a 12-15 mile headwind directly west to east and some horrid heat and track conditions but all in all alot of fun. Before the chit gets too deep let's explain that the SRT-10 was being run for the first time at the track by a guy that has never owned a manual trans before let alone has never been to the track. 21 can tell you all alot about the first time at the track and that's with an auto. Anyway it's cool the three of ya showed and hopefully more will join you guys next time. Again good job 21, come out next time and have some fun. mammyjammer dtw/hemet
Good on ya 21. I still think it is strange, well, out there racing my boat towing machine. However, I give you a tip of the hat for talking and backing it up.
You also have to appreciate the Titan's aluminum block, heads, and a forged steel crank. I am in the process of building up a 383, and well, these kinds of parts aren't cheap folks. 2200 for the heads, 3000 for the block, and 800 for the crank.
The big 3 are still trying to get performance out of the cast iron stuff and that stuff is good, but if you want to make big ponies, you need big cahonies...
my best pass was a 15.5, Speed-Freak (aka David) should post pics of them soon. here were 2 of my runs (cant find the other slips right now, i also ran a 15.6):
and for those you wondering i did beat crzycuban on one of my runs he got me on the 2nd run, so it's 1-1!! we'll settle the score next time. there was 3 of us out there this time, hopefully we'll have more when we run again.

I sure am happy to hear that - now he can just chill out.

All, I am sorry that I was unable to make it to the Cal. Speedway. Im glad to hear that the "TITAN" held its own!! When is the next meet?? I would love to attend...
Nice going guys! Tons of asphalt out at California Speedway too so I know with the 100+ temps you guys must have been roasting. I would have been reaching for the AC switch before I even touched the brakes at the end of the 1/4 mile.

just curious on speakfreak and supertitanmans results at the tracks ..... et's mph's and a list of their mod's .
btw ... sounds like a lot of fun ... good job guys
Nice times Titan21. Looks like I still got ya in the 1/8 though. It is around 100 degrees and 100% humidity here in FL. But, you have about a .5mph higher trap speed than me in the 1/8th so it looks like you would pull in the 1/4. But, how much I do not know. I need some mods. I only have an exhaust. Those headers are damn expensive man.

spead-freak's best run was a 15.8, i'm not sure of is e/t. he has exhaust mod, thats all. supertitanman's best run was a 16.1, he has magnaflow exhaust and k&n drop-in i believe. it was his first time out so he was having a little trouble. he did take a hemi though! he lined up with a QC that had an exhaust and he took it! he ran a 16.1 to the hemi's 16.2. made us TITAN guys very proud.

Yeah man. $820.00 for the cheapest set for my truck...and I have seen no dyno results yet. But, I have heard sound clips and it sounds killer. Still waiting on chip, intake...etc. Thats what we get for buying a new model line-up. Nothing available for a good year or so after.
