seoh2max,

How'd you do that to your third brake light? Pretty cool.

exhaust drone IS indeed a little problem in my opinion......

My Titan CC is 4 weeks old has 4000 miles now and it is my only complaint aside from the obvious radio problems.

I asked the dealer about the exhaust and they have actually investigated it for me because I wondered if I added an extension to get the exhaust out from under the back if it would help.....his investigation gave the following answer.

"There are tuning chambers in front of the cats that actually enhance the exhaust note, so a simple solution is not in the cards." The only solution as I see it at this point is to have a custom pipe bedning shop basically start at the headers.....remove the expansion chambers and re-pipe all the way back making sure to keep the factory cats...(that is a no no! )

Could be costly so I guess untill the factory system rots off.....hopefully soon I will deal with it!

Nice truck, but the exhaust is a little too much for long trips.

Still, no matter what you fly, if you drive a Titan, you have EXCELLENT taste.

Why stop at the edge?

Kinda like all of the brand loyalty shown here....Just enjoy what you have, and either try to keep up with the B.S., or just laugh at it. I think that I made a good choice with the Titan (and the plastic airplane), others may disagree, and I could care less what they think, or what they drive. Yes, that is me that you hear laughing
Now, go flying...'cause no matter what you drive, you are still a pilot. Take someone with you...maybe they will enjoy the low flight to the airport in the Titan, and you can take them for a plane ride when you get there.

PS I have EXCELLENT taste...(from my point of view), and I think that the RV3 through 10 are all excellent choices!

PSS Like I used to tell my wife..."I get to be right, and you can always have an opinion"

Thanks for the replies, I drove a Titan last nignt on the expressway at towing speed without a 6000 trailer load. Your right Greg W and Virnoche the low growl is there, which probably will be louder with a trailer load. But I will still buy a Titan and deal with if it bothers us. GREAT TRUCK! can't wait to hook up my 27' Safari and try the 13% on US 40

Allright just got back from a week long business trip. Sure was nice taking my dog for a ride in the Titan when I got back!

Good to see all the dog people here, and imadogman we all respect those who build their own I think the compost ribbing is just funnin' . The Long-ez was on my "what to build list" but not quite compatible when I moved to Idaho with the short and high grass strips <g>.

Airstream good luck on your choice. I am still unable to hear exhaust noise above road noise in the Titan at cruise (that's ONE thing I loved about the new F-150, the road AND overall noise was very low but stepping on it it had a very low power/weight ratio).

Me too

im an aspiring fighter pilot and have two pit bulls. The dogs were most of the reason i got the truck, not to mention the dirtbike and drums.

anyway, the real reason i posted is to say that the day after buying my titan, i drove from san diego to vegas then back to san diego and then up to san fran and yosemite, all in the same weekend. about 2500 miles. I enjoyed driving every minute of it in the titan which i never thought possible in a truck.

it handles very well and the exhaust noise was not bothersome at all. i used to have a 12 second trans am, now that was annoying, but ive been driving a 3000gt and a 2002 eclipse gt for the last 2 years which are basically silent. moving to this truck, i have not noticed the exhaust on the highway anymore than my eclipse. now around town while accelerating, thats a different story.

most of my driving is freeway driving and i enjoy a quiet ride, and i have no complaints, maybe it is just my particular truck, who knows.
