Every now and again I will see posts about the navigation system and titan owners asking if they can purchase one from nissan to be installed. It has to be installed in the factory is what I was told so no chance of getting a Nissan Navigation system put in however I bought a new Delphi Navigation system today from Circuit city and it is AWESOME. It has voice commands , 3D birds view, and tons of features. It cost me $500 but I had a ton of gift certificates that pretty much paid for it so Im a happy camper. This system is alot cheaper than some of the magellan and Garmin GPS systems that are equal to what it can do. Has an awesome picture with tons of color. I highly recommend one to those of you wanting navigation. Also, I did my research on Consumer Guides and on Feedback on Circuit City.Com and this unit has very high ratings. Here is a link to the system for those that are interested.... http://shopdelphi.com/products/consumers/mobilenav/
Sorry I dont have any pics but I have it installed using the windshield mount that came with it. It really looks good. Here is a pic of the hardware that came with it to give you an idea. Also I learned this morning that Delphi does all the Navigation Units for Cadillac Escalade, Hummer H2, GMC Denali, and the Chevy Suburban.
I've tried but I can't get window mounts to stay in the TITAN (magellan roadmate), I used both stock and other mounts. Industrial strength velcro works for me.
I think it has something to do with the reaction of the truck when the lights turn green.

My window bracket stays on fine. It has a suction cup with a latch to secure it even stronger to the window. I actually tried to knock it off and it will not budge. No problem at all with picking up the sat signal. I thought that could be an issue when I was thinking about buying it and once I bought it and plugged it up it took around a minute for it to find the signal and now when I cut it on it finds the signal within 5 seconds. Works great so far.
