Plastic dip thread!

i would never pay someone to paint my truck again. lol ^^ i rattlecanned about 4 or 5 months ago and its still in the exact same condition as when i did it, just a little dirtier as my truck is in need of a clean redoing it with my new paint gun in about a week and im very confident that will last me a very long time

thats the same brand i use..and yeah they have been PD'ed for a while now with no peeling or anything. just use masking take and tape off an area big enough to stop over-spray and leave about a 1"-2" square around the letters. Use a toothpick to clear out the parts inside the letters and when peeling pull the PD away from the letter outline and it should peel easily. I used 4 coats on mine, one from ever angle then some trim touch up for some shine. makes for a real clean look on them..let me know if you have anymore questions on it!

Did you do the plastic bumper cap too, or are you lucky enough that yours just hasn't faded yet? lol

damn lol....I used a whole bottle of back to black between the bed rail trim, tail gate trim, and the rear bumper step pad and it didn't even half help

Found a new use for plastidip. For those of whom with concealed carry holsters and find the belt clips a little sharp, plastidip is the way to go. I have scratched my trucks paint, the driver door pocket, my dresser, my hand, that spring metal can be like razor blades. I have dipped them once before (4 coats) and one side came off. Just goes to show how much it rubs against other things! I'm right now in the proccess of redoing it. YEAH Plastidip!!
