2500 Mile update report, with so little praise threads, its time...

Well,

Of course, as soon as I am done typing this I will knock on wood, but I have put 2500 trouble free miles on my Titan. I checked both front and rear diff's, and they were full of fluid when I bought it (heartfelt thanks to our unfortunate "trail-blazers").

I took the truck out for some 'froadin this weekend. I have an SE CC model, OR with locking diff, BT, and RF package. Aside from the radio reception could be better in areas, the truck has functioned flawlessly from day one. The suspension could be a little softer going over multiple bumps, I have to remember it is a truck, not a Caddy. My paint has been perfect, no electrical gremlins, and no rattles or otherwise strange noises.

I also have the 2.5 inch leveling kit. I am not endorsing Daystar, plenty of people with big headaches, but my suspension doesn't make a peep. I say this after playing with the truck on the trails in 4WD. The steering feels a little looser at 80mph, but it still tracks straight as an arrow. I don't really know about people with trouble going over speedbumps etc... I slow to a crawl before taking a big bump, and I am waiting for a better/longer travel adjustable strut.

Every bell and whistle meets or exceeds my expectations; bottom line, I paid for a 30K dollar truck, and I have so far received a 30K dollar truck. I also passed 6 other Titan's and 4 Armada's this weekend on a 4 hour road-trip.

I second BossHogg. 1500 miles and absolutely no problems. I have a galaxy CC LE 4X4 with BT and OF, DVD. Thanks to these boards I have overcome my limited mechanical ability to install a Truxedo Low Profile cover, Mr Grille Billet Grille, and OEM bug deflector. My radio reception is excellent, even with a short flexible antenna (Momma likes the look better). My mileage has been consistently in the 14.6-15.3 mpg range in mostly city driving. I have no complaints with my truck- and this comes from a guy whose family has worked for Ford Motor Company since 1918.

I have over 16000 miles on my truck and it has been great. I don't seem to have the radio problem. The Titan has towed great for a 1/2 ton. It seems to be more comperable to our other 3/4 tons. It does use more gas than my 5.3 GMC. It tows much better though. I really like the console shifter in the Titan. It is so much more user friendly when towing and using the transmission to help slow down a trailer. I have been driving GM trucks for over 30 years. They have been great trucks. The Nissan Titan has more features and more power than any of the trucks I have owned and still own. I would recommend it to anyone.

Maybe I'll finally be able to put 2500 on my Titan.....of course, it'll have to be out of the shop before I can do that.

4 days and counting. Still waiting to get the right front window fixed so that it'll roll up.

Just turning 1500 miles on my XE KC 4x4. Cracked overhead and low differentials, some panel misaligment. The rest is flawless, what a great truck I actually look forward to my drive to work (and excuses to drive anywhere else which is acting way out of my normally frugal character). 14.8mpg mixed, my one highway trip netted 18.0 mpg.

other than the radio reception, and the minor bodywork performed by dealer, it's an absolute green terrior. as soon as i learn how to load my pictures, i will show you guys how my CAI is possibly making more power than expected. 14,000 miles and getting stronger.

I have about 3000 miles and I have had some problems (brake booster replacement, rear passenger door will not open from inside(clip broke), taligate emblem casing broke, engine light (needed ECU reset), and rattles). You know what, I dont care. I love this truck, and this will be the first vehicle that I keep for longer than two years. I will have it till the warranty runs out. I love it, and I cant say it enough. Maybe I am optimistic, but I feel like this truck was meant for me. Many mods and upgrades will be done and each one will make it unique to me. For all the people that complain, I understand. I wont knock it because it is frustrating. However, we all have lived through them and still drive the truck. I am done with my "good" rant. To all prospective buyers: BUY IT!!! Dont second guess, just do it and love it like 90% of the owners here.

I'm at 2300 miles in just over a month. I'm just trying to make up for the three months I had to wait for it from the factory. So far I've had zero issues. My mileage has improved from 15.1 to 15.9, but that's probably due to my temp tonneau. My radio reception is fine on my RF, but the overall sound quality could of course be better.

3 Weeks - 1500 miles - no problems and radio is great - no fade or reception problems - 13.4 - 13.5 - 13.8 mpg seems to be creeping up.

For the love of Titan! Took delivery 4 weeks and 1600 miles ago. I love this truck, even sittin in traffic seams pleasant now. Small A/C drain leakage has been my only problem. Buying this truck was the best decision i've ever made (as far as vehichles are concerned).

I've been waiting a long time for my truck to be fixed.

But the only reason that is so hard is because, I love driving this truck!

Here's Kudos to the engineers, this truck is fun!

Bosshogg,
Good point sometimes we forget to focus on the positives. And there are many.
