I'm curious what exactly is this burnout mod I've heard about?

the irnoy is, he wouldn't be able to "look at the bottom" unless he started this thread.
I think titan talk should place the Search function in big bold letters that moves as your scroll down the page and open different threads. than there is no excuse for not being able to find the search button

when you press the gas and brakes at the same time, you only get a small % of throttle, not enough to do a burnout.
the mod tricks the truck by thinking the brakes are not pressed so it gives you 100% or 50% if you have WOT restriction.
it tricks it by putting a switch by your brake lights, if you turn on the switch, when you press your brakes, the brake lights don't come on.
and the WOT refrense, is a diffrent conversation.
Haha thanx 4mula and Honda for the clarification. And thank you kewl for the help.

Lol mine are extremely worn out and maybe have 20-30% tread left. Plus I'm ordering the new tires soon anyway, but If I decided to do the mod it would be after I already have the new tires to put on when I roast the 35s.

I have a bully dog w/ WOT turned off. I done the burnout mod with switch, however I have no issues with brake lights, switch on or off. Is that because I have WOT off? I have noticed people that have said they didn't have brake lights, but it didn't seem to affect me. Also, I dont' think I read anything in the burnout mod simplified that mentioned WOT off affecting anything. Sure was nice to smell burnt rubber from the T. Time to rotate tires and finish wearing down factory tires and grab some new ones

Depends on which wire you spliced-- red & white or red & green. I believe red & green cuts power to the lights.

if you only want to roast em right before your swap to new tires just look by the brake pedal, there is 2 plugs, disconnect the one with the 2 red wires, note, you will need to be in neutral as once unplugged you loose the signal that will let you take it out of park, you also have no brake lights. so burn em, plug wires back and your back to normal
