Weird Light Problem

I started working a new shift, and it's dark when I leave in the mornings
now. I noticed when I turn my lights on that the three a/c knobs don't
light up like the rest of the dash until I go about three miles. I thought
it might be a loose wire, but they don't blink out or anything once they
decide to light up.

I was able to get them to come on in the driveway one time by turning
the light switch off and back on several times.

If I try the Jet mod for the radio, I may look for a loose wire then.

Any ideas?

mine does that too. only, it takes mine a few seconds. some sorta weird delay thing. now one time it did take a little longer, i was driving and went to turn on the vent and couldnt see my buttons. freaked me out.
