for use with a standard 2" portable mount (which several mfg's already make) and is expecting to ship at the end of October. Always willing to compromise, I ordered the T-Max 9500# winch earlier this week along with the portable hitch mount they make for it. So until Warn is done with our front hitch assembly, I'll use my Titan Hitch - though I admit that config doesn't lend itself too well to forward progress when your in the muck. Backwards will have to do for now. :-(

p.s.,
rubicon4x4.com is offering the T-Max 9500# winch (
http://www.t-maxwinches.com/winches/winches1.html) for $449.00 and...I coincidentally found myself speaking this afternoon with Mike Stutz who is the sole US distributor for these winches (
http://www.rockcrawler.com/features/...max_remote.asp) - he went on about how upset he was that this company is offering this winch for this price and it is coming to an abupt end in the next day or 2. Trust me, I searched extensively and could not find this winch - which appears to be of top quality - for less than $550.00. So if you want to save ~$100.00, check it out. I was going to wait a few weeks, but couldn't resist the savings.
