Question 2005 Titan

I have heard that the 2005 Titans will be available in October. Dealers will be placing order the first 2 weeks of August. If anyone hears of details with regards to changes in features, packaging etc. please reply. It is getting late in the year to buy a 2004 model with the minimal incentives offered (1.9% financing or $1000 cash isn't much) so I'm waiting even if there are no changes.

I think you are right to wait, even if there are no changes to the 2005. Before you even buy it, the vehicle is considered 1 model year old so you have to get a big discount.

I am really hoping for a roll down back window and some quality issues fixed. I am still considering a F250 but I dont thing the compair...the titan is much nicer.

You can get a power back window after market. I remember reading about it on this site. Only the center portion comes down.

I just heard an advertisment from the dealership that I bought my Titan from. They are offering $5K off sticker. I should have waited 3 months and I could have saved $2K more. Oh well..............

Unhappy

I'm probably the most bent-over Titan buyer here. Going on four months wait on an order, and by the time the thing gets here, the '05's will be just around the corner. The only saving grace, and I mean ONLY, is that I wanted Canteen green in a big way. I'll probably have the lowest mileage Canteen Titan in the country by year's end, because I won't even HAVE the thing until the leaves start falling! I'm really going to get tough with the stealership when it does arrive. I want some free oil changes, couple tanks of gas, any other ideas? I mean, they've had months to play with my $1000 deposit and are one month late on our agreement. Hmm...maybe just take something off the lot in an '05, and demand same price for an SE vs. the XE I ordered?

Aw hell, I'm just rambling now. This wait is making me insane. Along with spending the morning under the hood in my '89 GMC tuning it up for another year's worth of emissions test and registration THAT I WOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR IF MY (*$$$%^($+@! TITAN WAS HERE!!!

Whew. I feel better now. A little.

Live and learn. Man, I swear, it just doesn't matter how hard you wheel and deal, yer gonna pay....in the end...so to speak!

Brian

I want to know what new colors are coming to replace the discontinued Canteen and Sedona.

I would be happy if '05 had no changes other than better QC and more of the options broken out of packages, like maybe a sunroof in an SE...

Brian,
You may want to forfeit the $1K and buy an '04 from another dealer benefitting from the deep discounts some here have mentioned.
Read the fine print on the contract you signed.
Good luck. (of course they'll call tonight and tell you to pick up your new machine.)

Ok,

Where are the people that work at nissan, dealerships, or whatever that should be leaking info on 2005's?

Come on, I'm getting ancy(sp?), there is a loaded demo F150 FX4 that I'm trying not to go test drive. There is also a SE 4x4 Titan setting on a local lot that keeps calling my name...

Need Input

Plus, my trade is about to depreciate another year, YIKES!!

I'll go to bed now..,

Marcus

I keep asking my dealer about changes and they keep saying "no changes but QC." They are like a broken record.
