Ford/Dodge/Chevy/Toyota owner: “You say that thing is a Nissan?”
Titan owner: “Yup, probably the most American-built truck you can buy. Oh, it’s got a few quirks: the radio’s a piece’a sh**, the windows don’t always roll up, the rear end is likely to catch fire and the overhead console is cracked. The dash scratches easy and the bedliner is bubbling like a witch’s cauldron. I dented the hood the first time I closed it and the seatbelt in the back seat is a real pain in the a**. The airbags don’t work for passengers under 250 pounds and the mileage varies from 10 to 20 mpg, depending on the phase of the moon. The A-pillars prevent you from seeing anything approaching from the right and I guess I could probably get rid of that ‘toothy’ grill with a billet. It rattles like something you’d buy at Babies-R-Us and it could definitely benefit from a 6-inch lift and fender flares. The front’s too low, the back’s too high and there’s no way in hell you can open the bed-storage door without breaking the handle. Furthermore, there’s no way in hell you can open the tailgate without breaking your back. The dials on the dash were made by Mattel and sometimes that driver’s seat has a mind of its own, but it don’t matter much cuz the stitching is fraying, anyway…probably from the leak in the roof. And don’t get too close to that brake dust, it’s a bear to get outta your britches. I’ve called Nissan about it 487 times, but they could care less. My dealer says it’s all my imagination and the Service Manager can’t duplicate anything.
Yessir, it’s just about the finest pickup truck I’ve ever owned! If I had the money, I’d buy three more just like it!”
Sound familiar?

I like my Nissan. 40 or so days ago I loved my Nissan.
I can't say it should never break down,it's man made there will be imperfections.
I could easily live with most of the problems mentioned above, if when they happened I was properly taken care of. At this time I don't feel that is happening.
Obviously, my message is failing abismally. Allow me to translate:
"Gee! Maybe it would be funny to take a COMPOSITE of ALL the problems that people bring up on this forum and bounce them against the fact that, in spite of the many "quirks" that have been exposed in this new offering from Nissan, the owners of same are still ENAMORED with said vehicle. Surely, everyone will understand and a good time will be had by all."

2 weeks, been in the shop once to fix the steering wheel (was crooked) and 1 rattle....now it's tight as a drum and working fine. Only complaint left: radio sounds like crap, but they are working on the fix, so it's all good. Before I bought my truck I came on here, looked at some common issues, went ELSEWHERE, looked there, test drove and made my choice. The problems that the titan is having, even if I had them, are still worth it to me to get the best truck for your buck. Sorry you are unhappy with yours, I know it sucks. I have an 03 Honda Accord POS Im trying to sell since it has every single problem under the sun so I know what you're going through.
I still think you need to go to another car forum and see that you will find this crap on each and every one. People post complaints mainly, not praise. And you could easily make up another tirade about <insert vehicle make and model here>

Shhhhh Colorado, we don't want Nissan to get a bad rap..lol I get what your saying...so just how many of the big three vehicles have you owned since, "it’s just about the finest pickup truck I’ve ever owned! If I had the money, I’d buy three more just like it!”
I think what he is trying to say is the way i feel about mine.
Rebuilt transmission after 62,000 miles, rear end bearings at 126,000 miles, and its a dog off the line, but when i get the money, im heading straight over to my Dodge dealer to buy a brand new one regardless of what a 'piece of ****' it is to others.
Did i get it? Do i get a cookie or something? GIVE ME A COOKIE!!!
Obviously, the real intent of my post got lost in translation. Oh, well, it'll be interesting to see where it goes from here.
I understood your point right from the start. Maybe thats because I had to replace my windshield 2 weeks after I got it. 6 weeks later I got rear ended by a woman with no insurance, plus I have/had some of the problems you mentioned.
But..... I still grin from ear to ear when I drive it.

Colorado your point is well taken. These trucks are not perfect. They have problems just like all the other trucks. But, most Titan owners owners love their trucks. They may complain about some things. They still think their trucks are great. The fun to drive quality is priceless. Not everyone is looking for a truck that is fun to drive so it will not fit everyone.
