I have wondered about this too. The dealer told me the Titan just got a 5 star crash rating but I have not found any proof yet, but this was just last week

The link below is an article about a pro volleyball player that wrecked his Titan. This happened a while back so he was probably one of the first.

I just saw one today get wrecked. The titan T-boned a gooseneck trailer at about 45 mph. It totaled the titan, but the dude that was in it walked away. It pushed the front wheels on the titan back about six inches and the whole front end was smashed, but the cab was not damaged badly.

I was hit from behind while sitting at a red light, by a person in a Ford SUV. She was on a cell phone and didn't see me. Knocked me into the truck in frount of me. Mess up my frount bumper, back bumper, trailer hitch and tail gate, $3200 in damage. Totaled the 98 Ford. The police said she was doing at least 40 mph. My truck was 2 weeks old with 800 miles. The body shop at Lively Catalac Olds, in Longview, Tx did the repairs, did a good job.

God Da$% soccer moms... "Hang up and drive" is a good bumper sticker!

Speaking of soccer moms, there a couple of Ford Excursions/Expeditions in town that don't even have tow hitches!!! what a waste.
