Midwest Owners! (WI, MN, MI, etc.)

I am new to the group and I am thinkng about buying a Titan next summer. I live in Central Wisconsin and would like to hear from other owners in the area.

I am in Chevy and Ford country and rarely see a Titan on the road. My local dealers don't carry much of an inventory. My gut tells me to get the Titan but I am being bombarded with co-workers and dealerships that say Chevy or Ford is the only way to go.

Can anybody recommend a Nissan dealership in this area that you have had a positive experience?

While I'm not in your part of the country (I'm in Texas), I would suggest go with your own feeling, not what someone else may suggest. Chevy and Ford do have far more experience with full size trucks, but what may have been good for someone else may be the wrong choice for you. Something you might try is if you see a Nissan (not necessarily a Titan) around, see if you can talk to that owner and find out where they purchased it locally (if possible). See what their experiences have been with service, sales, etc at a local area dealer. Just an option to try if you don't find someone here that has had experience. Good luck

I'm in Southern MN and it's the same store. All big three around here. I had the first titan on the road in the area. There are 2 more finally on the road.

Get what you like.. which sounds like the Titan!

Twin Cities' Titan Owner here -

"ford or chevy".....

well, the Ford's a nice truck, a bit underpowered and overweight, but a nice truck

the Chevy is comfy, rides great and only handles ok, has reasonable power (so long as the engine doesn't crap out with the piston slap problem).

the Titan has great power, nice handling, a nice ride and we all love 'em

Drive all 3 (and drive a Dodge), and get what you like the best. Don't let others tell you how to spend 30 grand.

I'm in the Milwaukee area. I had a great salesman and dealership. PM me if you want the salesman's name. I am headed up past you to the Phillips area on Wednesday for my first long towing trip (16 ft. loaded trailer on the way up, and a 22 ft. travel trailer once I get up there).
