Mainland Haole here, whuddahaps?
I'm not from the islands but wish I were. We've been to the island of Maui enough times, I should be considered a local. Which island are you from? I think I would get frusturated having a Titan on the islands as there aren't many places to take her out and really (I mean REALLY) stretch her legs. Bet you have a good time upcountry though. Aloha brudda.
Haha nice ya I'm from Oahu here in Honolulu I actually bought a 2wd Crew Cab and plan on dropping it. Mainly due to the fact that it doesn't fit in many of the old building parking structures. I work for a construction company but am based out of the main office.
Its definately my family vehicle and don't really plan on towing anything but it's definately still an option. I've always wanted something so we can throw our junk in the back without worring about dirtying the back seat or trunk. Now I have a bed to throw the kids sports equipment and wet clothes!
Aloha,
If you do a search on me, you can see the various hawaiin posts that I have done and how I feel about Nissan of Hawaii. Im starting to see more and more Titans on the roads over here.

Heh.... sad to hear about your earlier experiences but its good that we know about them I hope that I won't have the same problems. Main thing is that everyone is informed. I also bought a 2003 Murano which my wife loves and haven't had any noticeable problems with the vehicle at all.
Eventually we can do a picnic or get together might be interesting.... I've been calling multiple suspension manufacturers but to no avail just yet. Ground Force doesn't seem to want to return my phone call but maybe its because I'm in Hawaii and they are in PA.
Howzit!! I know what you are saying re: parking garages. I work in a lot of different buildings taking service calls and I find myself looking for street parking a lot now since I got my Titan. Get together sounds good. I was invited to a Nissan get together from the salesman who helped sell me my Titan he belongs to the Nissan club as well. He drives a Z but I couldn't make the date.

Aloha nui brah! You are correct you sit a lot in traffic in Hawaii to go small distances. I consider that severe driving therefore every 3K miles oil changes. I live in Oahu but looks like we are going to see in the next year or a couple, a Super Ferry based in Hawaii. It's already being built in the mainland (Continental U.S.) Going to be able to carry vehicles to outer islands. Will be similarly priced as interisland airfare but of course you have to pay extra for your vehicle. I'm going to plan on going though. Need to take the Titan up Mauna Kea, Haleakala, Hana, etc.. That should definitely stretch her legs! Anyways Aloha.
Woah XE with rims already! 22's? Haven't seen it on the road yet but I've heard of another Titan with 24's and Flowmasters and suposedly sounds like a corvette.

Don't mean to detract from the main issue of this thread but regarding the above quote, I found this link if it is of any interest to anyone. It gives inter island travel a whole new meaning. http://www.cruiselines.us/cruiseline...pperferry.html
Can't wait for it! Can you say competition for the Airlines and Rental Car Companies! Looks like underbody rustproofing and cathotic protection is back ...heh
Getting me Borla Dual Exhaust installed in my Titan today with side 3.5" angle tips. Got some 33x12.5x17 Mickey Thompson MTX tires, and am just waiting for my Stingray III's to come in from Centerline, should be coming by Saturday they said. Going with the 2.5 front lift as soon as everything comes in. Then we can compare Titans.
