Jacksonville = Truck Mecca

Sorry, this is kinda a regional topic.

Since buying a truck I tend to notice trucks on the road more than cars. Well...this weekend while in Jax I couldn't beleive the amount of trucks I saw cruisin around. Not to mention Titans. In fact, I saw more Titans in 2 days there than I have the whole time I've lived in Orlando(6 mos).

Houston is crawling with Titans and Armadas too! I'm surprised every time I drive over..of course there are about a billion Fords/Chevys/Dodges too. Around s.e. Texas Titans and Armadas are few and far between.

You're right, there were two titans and 1 armada leading off at one four light intersection in Gainesville (fl) yesterday, we all waved and had a moment...

For such a small town, I've seen more Titans in Enterprise, AL than in Atlanta.

I live in Ponte Vedra Beach and see Titans and Armadas all over the place. Just came back from a 2 1/2 week trip to Long Island in my Titan and hardly saw a single one on the road. Don't recall seeing more than 1 or 2 for the 2 weeks I was on Long Island. But then again the further north I went the less pickups there were.

Come to Texas LOL trucks are EVERYWHERE....I'm starting to see more and more Titans on the road, with the dominating color being Smoke. I feel really outta place this week driving my dad's Civic while my Titan is in the body shop - forgot what it was like to have a BIG truck behind me lol

I'd have to agree, I live in Jacksonville (Mandarin) and I see them everywhere! I had the only one in my neighborhood and the parking garage at work for a while but that seemed to change overnight. I know it's my first post but hey, it's easy when the topic is your truck and your town.

Starting to see more and more here in north metro Atlanta. On a typical day I'll probably see 4 or 5, along with some Armada's.

I agree, a mecca...

I'm in Jacksonville..... (mrrjax--I'm in mandarin also)

Just a couple weeks ago, there was a thread also about the number of titan's/armada's showing up, and I saw that just a day after I had passed 2 titans on my 7-mile way to work one day, ran across 2 titans and an armada at my lunchtime trip to lowes, and one more on my way home from work again.

Now since then, I haven't come across such an experience, but I do regularly see at least one semi-unique* titan or armada every other day on my back road commute.

* I say "semi-unique" because I have not noticed anything memorable that stands out-- I think that I've seen the whole pallette of colors in the last couple weeks.

For those in Jax, Look for my propeller, and my user name (tag)

I went shopping at Walmart with my wife yesterday and when we got back to truck my key fob wouldn't work. After a few choice words, I realized that I was trying to get into someone else's Radiant Silver Crew Cab parked near mine.
