First time detailing interior. What's your favorite cleaner?

I keep hearing negative things about how Armorall isn't good to use for some reason or another. Anyway, since I have the opportunity to do it right from the start since this is my first new vehicle, what's a good cleaner for the interior surfaces of a Titan SE. Also, is the steering wheel genuine leather? Thanks

MIke

bucket of hot water and a towel. dunk it and wring it out real good, wipe down all plastic and glass with it. picks up dust, spilled soda, nicotene etc.

I use eagle1 20/20 glass cleaner (no ammonia so it's safer on plastics and cleans great) and armor all cleaner for really dirty spots (greasy stuff water won't cut).

yes the wheel is covered with real leather, which reminds me I need to get some leather cleaner/conditioner before the sun has it's way with it.

Plastic is formulated with a plasticiser that migrates from the material with time. Then, the plastic becomes brittle and cracks. Sun and heat accelerate this process. Plastic treatments replenish the plasticiser. THis holts true for rubber, too!

I don't think you can beat the 303 line of products! Cleaner, Protectant, Fabric Guard.

303 is the ultimate protectorant for plastic and especially weatherstripping. ArmorAll, I think, is a hydrocarbon base, whereas 303 is water-based. Hydrocarbons attack todays weatherstripping material!

Meguiars makes a wipe that works great on leather and plastic. You can find it at any Wal-Mart or auto parts store.

Thanks. Does walmart have 303 products. I'm headed there to pick up oil for the first oil change as well.
