How's the Problems progress going?

I've been away for a couple of months and didn't get to buy one, yet.

Last time I was here, the Titan was expiencing several different electrical problems and I was wondering if the mfr. plant had finally got them under control.

I'm anxious to buy, now, again, but I sure could use a sit. rep. on the Problem situation, thanks.

My best advice: Wait for the '05s.

Production has stopped on the 04s and the 05s will benefit BOTH from the problems the 04s had AND from the techs that came over to fix QC.

Electrical problems? You mean the radio reception issue? Only other 'electrical' problem I'm aware of is the driver side window sometimes not going up right away.

What problems do you mean exactly?

If you were here a couple months ago checking out the electrical problems (which I don't remember and I have been a member for over a year) why is your join date August 2004. Were you just looking?

suspicious are we? being away for several months, i lost my passwords, etc. Since i wanted to get on the boards just went a head and re-registered.

I seem to remember several posts about electical smoke coming out of the dash, trucks leaving their owners stranded on the side of the road. Now, I'm hearing of differential (rear end) problems and being advised to wait until the 05's come out.

Hhuummm.

I dont remember reading anything about smoke out of the dash. Anyway, if you can you should ALWAYS wait until the first year model + 1 if you can.

Just a little backup on the cashable vouchers, see page 2&3 of this PDF http://www.omvic.on.ca/News/Dealer_S..._2003_Fall.pdf
I would quote from that link, but I could not get acrobat to text copy from that link.

smoke 'em if you got 'em

The only smoke from my Titan comes from the rear tires, which has the added benefit of drowning out the less then perfect radio reception. This is an awesome truck.
