I am new to the TITANTALK community and I am very impressed with all of the helpful comments and ideas.
I do have one question and I would love to hear some feedback:
Is it me, or have you all noticed that the lame-brain, slow, left lane drivers really do tend to get over and out of the way when you approach them from behind in your TITAN? I am by no means a rude, road-rager and I do not condone approaching another driver at a high rate of speed, nor do I condone following too closely. I do a lot of travelling and stay on the interstate quite a bit.
Am I losing my mind? The slow people just seem to move over. They just quickly move to the right. Are these mighty TITANS that intimidating? Maybe it IS just me...

I have noticed this also.. Took my first hwy trip the other day and for the most part, folks were getting over quickly as approached. Of course there was the typical moron that was oblivious to the fact they were on planet earth behind the wheel of the car. They just got owned at the first chance of a jack move....!

Gotta keep in mind LOL the majority of those "morons" that don't get out of the way are so engrossed in their cellular phone call that they don't realize "hey I'm in the fast lane doing 45mph I bet move over". had a girl today in the lane next to me move over to go around some bicyclists and didn't realize I was next to her...luckily I could move into the center turn lane to avoid her hitting me, but when I passed her low and behold, she was yakkin the aftn away on the phone.

Yes, I have also noticed my daily commute has gotten a little less annoying, when I had my pathfinder nobody would move but the Titan defintely does get respect. It is as if I am the only one in the left lane now.

Yes "cool breeze" and TIGER, you guys are absolutely correct! I recently traded my silver FX45 for my White TITAN and have noticed that even the people with the cell phones growing out of their ears move over. "pciley" you too, are so right. I had to run down I-85 yesterday around 7:30am and I kept my lights on until I arrived in Atlanta - seem like the headlights do make a difference.
But even with when I had my twin turbo Supra (white) or my CLK 430 (black), people would not move over. I guess people in general respect the larger pick-up trucks, and boy do we have us some nice ones!
Ditto on the move over...except when I'm late for work or going to the emergency room.
I also had some slap d*** decide to change lanes for no reason friday. No blinker and he was on the phone. I got out of the way by the skin of my teeth only because I anticipated his stupid driving. When he got up next to me at the next light I took my cell phone out of the cup holder, rolled my window down, beeped my horn, and when he looked I showed him my phone and yelled, "call me next time you want to change lanes". He looked like he had no idea what I was talking about, because he was still on the phone.
I wish I had a device which would let me cut in on their phone calls and tell them (over their phone) to get a clue. Or at least a device that would short out their phone.
Thanks Tiger Titan. Forgot to mention I got the finger yesterday from a couple of skin head looking rednecks driving a beat up old Bronco II. I didn't do anything to them, was behind them (not following close at all) and when they came to a stop sign and turned right, the passenger turned around in his seat and shot me the finger. Me and the girlfriend looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders. Maybe he was showing me how high he could count?
Having the headlights on during the day helps big time! It's like they are moving away from the light.
That's why I put the daytime running lights on the Titan. People stopped pulling out in front of me also with the lights. BTW let your Titan follow you sometime in a car. It is an intimidating beast in a cars rear view mirror.

You must not live in Chicago. No one ever gets out of anyone's way on Chicago's expressways. I have seen squad cars with lights and sirens have to go to the shoulder to get around people that simply refuse to relinquish the left lane.
I find that the center lane is the best one to drive in on the expressways. You can quickly go either left or right depending on the breaks in traffic.
