I have owned my Titan now for 2 weeks (awsome truck). The day after I bought it though, I started getting a ticking/rattle/creaking sound coming from the right side of my dash. it almosts sounds as if theres a loose bolt and the dash has just enough play to put stress on the plastic and cause a creaking noise. I took it to my dealer and they gave me a bunch of bs saying that it will go away with time. I now, its a horible description but has anyone else experenced the problem and figure out whats causing it?
I've managed to kill it (mostly) in my Armada. Do you have a piece (the auto-headlight sensor is attached to it) on top of your dash right by the windshield? I popped it up and pretty much coated the whole underside with one side of velcro everywhere it touched the dash. Popped it back in, and the popping/creaking noises are gone.
It used to do it pretty bad if I left my Armada in the sun and got the dash hot. Now if I could only kill the last tiny creak from the rear gate, all would be well.
I think I have the same squeak/creak. Its on the passenger side of the dash and sounds like its down near the vent. My girlfriend pushed on it in several different locations, but to no avail. If anyone fixes this, I want to be the first to know.

Thats exactly were the sound seems to be coming from. Glad to know I'm not the only person with this problem
Check the passenger side speaker on top of the dash and check your glove box door. I read one poster said his hood was sqeeking due to rubber spacers under hood not screwed out to touch and support the hood .

I also have a noise coming from the right side dash, by the ac vent. It sounds sort of like if I had a couple of washers in a cup, and it sounds only when I drive over rough roads or bumps. The noise has nothing to do with the engine or acceleration like other posts I've read (I even turned off the engine on a bumpy road and could still hear it.)
I took the glove compartment out and removed the fuse cover and had my wife drive around (can you believe I let her drive it?) while I stuck my head in and around that area. I tried moving the wire bundles and stand-offs behind there but I was not able to stop the noise. I did find out that I can hit the dash with the base of my palm with the truck stopped and cause a similar, much less noticeable noise.
I am convinced that the noise is coming from a steel tube, about 2 inches in diameter, that goes all the way across the dash. You can see the tube by looking past the glove compartment door at a slight up angle. This tube provides some attachment points for the Dash and you can see the wire stand-offs welded to it. I noticed that the tube has punched holes in it and I bet the punched metal is still in the tube and causing the noise I hear.
Does anyone know if there are any wires that run inside this tube? I am tempted to drill out some of those punched holes enough to get a magnet in there and try to chase those pieces out. Another option is to fill the tube with some expanding foam or something that would kind of glue the loose pieces in place.

Most of the rattles found in that are have been from a pillar plastic where it rattles against the windshieldor against the dash itself. Press foan pieces with a sharp screwdriver into the cracks and that will stop most of them. Also had a mirror rattle that sounded like from the vent. Good luck!
I too had dash rattle noise coming from the center to center/right. I was able to cut 99% of it out after scooting close to the windshield, and pressing on the defrost vent; of course I drove this way only for troubleshooting purposes! After telling the local Nissan tech of this, they packed the defrost vent area with foam, which has cut down considerably if not totally on the rattle noise.
