Re: Got my new grill guard installed

I got it off of e-bay, but you can buy it off of the companies web site for the same price. I bought it for $239.00 with free shipping, and it came with instructions...thank God. It took me about 3.5 hours to install it by myself.

The website it www.huntertruckwholesale.com

They have a phone number to contact them on their website if you have any questiuons. They were very professional, thier product is excellent with a lifetime warranty, and it shipped very quickly, was here in about three days via UPS.

yea, I plan on painting them. I wanted to wait a couple of weeks to allow the grill guard to "settle", then retorque all of the bolts to the specified lb.ft. before I paint them. After that I should never have to mess with them again unless I want to remove it.

Yea, pain in the butt to get lined up, plus trying to get the bolts out of the tow hooks was a PITA. But, in the end, its worth it...I guess that was the only motivation I had when I was under the truck cussing.

The thought has crossed my mind, there are already two 1/2" holes in the center bar for installing lights. I think I have some off road lights sitting in my workshop somewhere, just need to dig them out and see how they would look.
