If you have the factory installed alarm system, you can turn off the horn noise when locking the truck.
Just press the lock and unlock button together for about 5 seconds and an emergency light will flash 3 times.

Also, if you want to set the alarm w/o sounding the horn, you can hit the power lock button. The system will arm 30 seconds after the last door is closed.

This isn't a trick specific to the Titan though. It's a Nissan 'easter egg' as my mom's 2002 Altima does it as well.

I've avoided expensive shop repairs by changing the oil every 3,000 miles...
My point is is these are not necessarily "tricks" are they? These are all described in the owners manual. Whenver I buy a new vehicle, I throughly read the owners manual. You'd be amazed at what you'll find.
Who Cares what people call it a trick, option or a function. Some people may have not known that the truck, suv, or car did that.. Thanks for the info Phillipyang...
since this thread is all over the place, and someone mentioned cruise control light, does everyone have the cruise word in two places on the instrument cluster? in the sunlight, i can see all of the cutouts for the lights in the dash, and mine has two cruises above the "set" light. is this just an unresolved redundancy? just curious. critter
