I guess it would depend on what mods your going to do with it, if any.

my problem is that, i am looking to buy a titan...but the comapany i am using to find my Titan, is having a hard time tracking one down for me. Its been one month they have been looking. So i figure if i drop some options then maybe it will be easier to find. its either the Utility Bed, Offroad, Big Tow...i dont know if they are really worth it for me to get.
Yea, I have the utlity pack and it holds things in place but rope would do the same. I have used it though. The big tow, that would depend on if your ara going to do any big towing. The titan will handle basic stuff but if your going to pull anything big you might want it. Off road, I know that I will have to change out the "rancho" shocks for the leveling kit. Those with out it don't have that problem. If you are going to change out the wheels then there is one of the other reason not to get it. I do like the skidplates that come with it. Thats a plus. They couldn't find the one I wanted either, so I got everything.

i love the utili-track bed and the side lock box. i cant imagine not having them. who wants to put dirty tools and the like in the cab?, not me. btw, the tow and off-road are up to you but you never know if youll want to tow something big or wish you had a transfer-case skid plate, that is until its too late. i figure it will help in resale also when i trade it in; in 20 yrs.
I've found the Utilitrack to be a great feature too. The lockbox is also handy, I put my clamps, bungies, and first-aid kit in there. Steve, 20 years? You sure you won't get envious of the 2010 Titan with fission drive?
I didn't get the off road package because I didn't want to pay extra for the BFG Rugged Trail tires. They aren't rugged and you had better stay off trails with them. My Tundra came with them and I had over 13 sidewall flats in less than 5,000 miles. I also didn' want to pay extra for Rancho shocks which I blow out on a regular basis. The extra skid plates would be nice though. I will put better shocks and tires on when I can find some. I think the big tow is worth the money.I always like the lowest gears I can get, and the hitch is first rate.

My dealer said that the off road skid plates were for sale, but he may not know what he is talking about. I would like the front off road skid plate because it would make changing the oil much easier.

I've seen some of the skidplates on ebay, but you can get an aftermarket set too.

Are the skid plates offered for sale? I couldn't find them at courtesy or nissanparts 24X7
rickp - This looks like AZ. Where was the pic taken?
As far as the Off-Road pkg is concerned. Most of the options (skid plates, limited slip & tow hooks) are included w/ the 4x4, and the Fog lights included w/ LE model. If you get the Big tow, the only options you are missing are the "Off-Road Tires and wheels and the Rancho shocks, both of which I've heard aren't worth the extra money. I plan on putting new shoes on mine anyway after a 2.5" facelift; it's a no brainer for me.
As for shocks, They may say Rancho, but built to Nissan specs. I'd rather get the true deal and upgrade to the Rancho RS9000X (9-pos. adjustable). You get the smooth ride, and adjust to the stif on the few times I go off road. Just my opinion.
