factory fog light kit problem

well i got my fog light kit and installed everything then went to plug in the lamps and guess what- no factory connectors in the harness. I took the truck back to the dealer and they said that was not possible, after two hours tearing apart the front end looking for them they gave up and are going to contact the factory reps tomorrow. i connot return the kit because it was electrical and installed, anyone thinking of ordering the kit should verify that the plug exist in your harness first. My born on date is april/2004 XE CC

i wonder why the dealer did not know that, i am shure that is what the rep will tell the dealer, from what they said the lights run off the headlight cuircut, ehey might be able to hard wire the plugs into the harness when they find the wire colorcode.

Sorry for your disappointment.

You will find some VERY HELPFUL information as this issue on the XE 2wd has been covered about a dozen times. We have to hard wire. Just do a search. I had a thread on how to wire it, so if you can't find it just PM me.

I just ordered the kit from Jamie last week and he triple-checked with me that I did not have an XE. So hopefully, nobody else ordering from him has the same problem.
