need parts bad

I got t boned in my new titan on sunday. Problems have already arose. So far I have had to take the truck in for 3 minor warranty repairs and each time the parts took at least 12 weeks to arrive. I am still waiting on my new front seat that was ordered on 8 july. Anyhow, the right rear axle is bent and friggin Nissan will only say it is back ordered. I can't go 12 weeks with no vehicle and my insurance only covers a rental for 4 weeks tops. Anyone out there know of an aftermarket source for this? This is total BS. Nissan should have prepared at least some replacement parts for @#$@#@ like this. Can anyone help me on this?

Sorry to hear sombody bent your baby, I agree nissan should have stocked the shelves alot better than they have. Even on parts that have been a overall problem on lots of vehicles they still don't stock the parts. I am afraid the aftermarket is not going to be much help in this case. It takes years sometimes for the aftermarket to catch up to a new model.

There was a Titan front seat on eBay earlier today. Enter "Nissan Titan" in the search querey, press search, and browse the Titan items for sale.

gotta wonder though about those Titan parts being sold on Ebay. They just recently busted a guy in California (there is a post around TitanTalk about it but I don't have it handy) for selling tailgates and other parts from Titan's.

I feel your pain, I got rear-ended and bent the leaf springs. I was in a rental for two months. Finally threatened the dealership (although it was NIssan's problem, not theirs) and the sent a new Titan to the body shop to be striipped of parts. Supposedly they are going to ramp-up replacement parts manufacturing this month. Good luck.

What and how did you bend the right rear axle, there is only one rear axle, do you mean you bent the right side, that would be purty darn difficult.

How's Lubbock, use to live there a couple years back, go Red Raiders.
