Utilitrac bed system

When I was looking at the truck I bought it had the bed extender and bed divider in it, so while we were doing the financial paperwork I see one of the shop guys taking the stuff out. I asked the salesman what he was doing and he said it was only there for show and I'd need to buy those extra from the parts department, to say the least I was pissed. I said that was on the vehicle when we made the deal but they said not included. So I go and look at the window sticker and there on it was clearly listed the divider and extender, now I'm really pissed. I tell the salesman I want to speak to the sales manager who eventually shows up and I explain to him what has happened and he backs up the salesman until I walk him out to the vehicle and have him read the window sticker. They have to relent that it is included with the vehicles price. Now yesterday I went to get something at walmart and left something valuable in the truck so I tried to stick it under the driver seat but I wont fit and I find a box under the seat so I put it under the pasenger seat and off I go. I stop and think I've never put a box under the seat and walk back and look again, well I had to tear the box up to get it out and find all these utilitrac system goodies, cleats, some kind of lugs or stops and a wrench. I looked on the window sticker and there not on it so are these always included with the system? Oh well now I got all those goodies I thought I was going to have to buy.

I was told by my dealer when I bought my LE that the box with the cleats, rail stops and wrench comes standard with the Utilitrac system.

Yes, they are standard. Althought it might have made more sense if they had provided them in a box that would fit into the side lockbox.

Part of the system...if you have the utility bed, you should have them. If you have Big Tow, there should also be a wiring harness jumper in the glove box.
The stops that are in the box you opened, can be added to the end of the upper tracks to keep the divider or extender from sliding all of the way out, or they can be used in the floor tracks to stop a pallet or whatever else from sliding around. The cleats and stops can be loosened and inserted into the track and turned 90 degrees, and then tightened in place. No need to slide them in from the ends.
Any questions?

Had just the opposite problem. My truck came with a sliding bed extender. I told them I didn't want it, but they said I had no choice since it was on the sticker. I didn't really have much of a problem with that since it could come in handy, and I probably would have bought one eventually anyway.

I bought a SE CC with the UB option and I only have the 4 sliding cleats. Should this be? Should the stops and wrenches be part of this package? What does the wrench do?

I remember the dealer removing the extender and small square things like stops or feet because it was also on the truck and I did not want it.

Those small square things were your stops...
Mine had 4 Tiedown cleats, 2 track stops, and a wrench to tighten the stop bolts.

4-cleats

2-sliding channel covers

The price of my truck included the lower tray, bed divider, and overhead rack.
I didn't want the lower tray, and had them trade it for the sliding bed extender. They wanted an extra $70 to trade, but I made them eat the cost or NO SALE on the truck.

same problem, almost

I got some bed stuff as stocking stuffers. Wasn't on the sticker. Wasn't in the truck before I picked it up, but it was in the truck just sliding around back there when I drove off. (not attached to the tracks)

I chaked it up to a "on the side" bonus for being a easy to deal with customer.

Stomper, If you paid for a Utility Bed pkg...you should have received all 9 items...they are not on the sticker...but part of the Utility Bed Pkg.

The box should contain FOUR cleats and FOUR stops along with the wrench. Notice the 8 compartments in the box.

My mistake, I also was given 4 stops instead of two. Two of the stops were already on the truck and 2 were in the box. I guess two were on already due to my truck coming with the sliding bed extender.
