Dodge Ram SRT10 Quad Cab 500HP 22" Wheels

Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab will go on sale in late September. It packs the Viper Roadster 8.3 liter V-10 and yes 500 hp!
It uses a heavy duty 4-speed automatic.
Price is estimated at $60000 which includes the 22" wheels and the huge rear spoiler plus the fighter-jet-sized hood scoop.

I hope Nissan guys are reading this. We need the supercharger Nismo or otherwise soon! I know, you'd say that would not help beat the beast, but it sure would give the SRT a run for it's money.

I just saw one here in Modesto on Monday. It was a black SRT-10 Ram CC No Doubt.

personally I love the concept of the SRT10 quadcab, mucho power, V-10. I think it's a great idea but not for 60K. You have to admit though, it would be a cool truck to own, even if you had to wait and buy it used for half-price a year later!!!

Hell at full throttle the thing will run out of fuel before the 1/4 mile is up!

yes that is a killer truck, but not at all practical, and $60K?

LOL!! That's a good one! Can we say 0.5 MPG?

Jet is right on the money, if you wait a year or so, the newness would wear off and some people who buy things on impulse or can't make the payment anymore(repos) would put a few of them on ebay for around $30K or so.

Lucky enough to own two Vipers 96 GTS and 04 SRT and gas millage is not that bad around 12-13mpg in town 22-25 on the road (six speed stick) but I don't think the trucks would be that good only because of the shape!

Great motor, lots of umph and the four door will have a tow rating which the two door did not so that should be interesting to see.

I don't think it will be 60 more like fifty thousand plus.

Yeh, they did the same thing to me. I thought I'd go in and take a look at this thing may be ask to test drive it only to find out it was just a hemi Quad Cab dressed up with a wing(spoiler) and hood scoop to look like the real thing.
If you happened to go by there again, take a look under the hood or see if it has a 2005 SRT-10 sticker on it.

Yes, thats going to be a nice truck, but 60k is way out of my league! I wouldn't worry about them trucks. Its totally out of Titan, and Hemi league. Any owner of that truck that would brag about beating a titan is a ***. There are some things you just dont compare, and thats one of them. The Titan is in class with the hemi, and its equal. Comparing a Titan to a V10 is like comparing a hemi/titan to the lightning. Its just not a equal match. That will be one fast quad cab though!

No, its the real thing. My buddy is a dodge guy and he took me over there about a week ago, The sticker said 55,000. It was the real thing, my buddy tried to get them to let us test drive it and they just laughed. Only test drives there allowing is if you let them run you credit and a bunch of other B.S.
