aftermarket grill question

Hi All,
I was browsing through ebay looking for aftemarket grill inserts and came across a guy selling one because "it only fit SE/LE and not XE" which is what he had. Is the grill configurations for SE/LE different from XE????? I thought as far as inserts all were the same. Thanks for any help, figured I would ask before I buy.

Mike

hello,

the grille patterns should all be the same (at least i think they are). if you are looking for a lower grille i would go with socal motorsports. i got my upper and lower from them and they were easy to install. the reason i went with them over mr. grille is because i will never put zip ties on my vehicle (aren't they for trash bags???). plus he gives discounts to forums members.

talk to you soon,

ms. titan

I agree with Ms.Titan, Mike.

I should be getting mine this week from socalmotorsports, it was a great price, and if you call and mention that you belong to Titan Talk Forum, he will give you a 30 dollar discount, so $220 gets you the upper and lower grilles.

I ordered the black ones for my Titan (Smoke), and I will post pics as soon as they are installed.

This might be a dumb question but do the aftemarket grill inserts prevent the engine from cooling properly? It looks like it would prevent air from cooling the engine at hwy speeds. I want to get the grill inserts but not if its going to affect engine cooling.

Thanks

Chris

hmmm... says he was asking for $265.
Bought the grille on my XE for $150, four pieces (Upper AND Lower).
Same grille was advertised for XE, SE, LE.
Just pay less and get a new one that nobody has messed with.
As stated, the only difference is the XE grille surround is color-matched to your truck and the SE/LE is chrome, the inside is still black plastic honey-comb on all models.

I hear what you are saying Paul. I never was interested in his grill, heck he didnt even have a pic of it . Its was just that I was about to get serious about finding a grill insert and his comment in his auction threw me off a bit. I wanted to make sure he was incorrect.
Thanks

Mike, as Ms.Titan said, socalmotorsports is a possible, I ordered mine and should be getting them. Mention Titan Talk forum and you will get a 30$ discount.

Normally 139.95 for upper grilles, 109.95 for lower grille, for a total of $250,
but he will knock it down to $220. Heres the ebay link

Upper Grille

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&category=33645

Lower Grille

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&category=33645

I called, and 'John' actually called me from his cell phone and took the order. I told him that I was a member of Titan Talk, and he took 30 bucks off the price.

So instead of 250, it was 220 (I bought the upper and lower of course)

and his web site;

http://www.socalmotorsports.com/vnissan/titan.html

Will post pics as soon as installed

WOW that's alot of $$$ for just a grille. Did that guy disappear that was selling all four for $150? Think it was Mr. Grille.

Just to reiterate: There should be NO differentiation between the different trim levels as far as grille fitment.
Mike, here's a link to the one that I have. The seller is "WEE12"

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

Very fast shipping, very low shipping cost, decent product.

Heres a pic of mine installed. And a pic from the auction's site.
