100k mile Titan. Still strong!

I'm manage a Car Dealership and today I had a guy trading in a 2004 Titan with 108k miles. I was amazed at how tight this truck still was. It didn't have any of the typical squeaks and rattles that I have seen in domestic trucks with that kind of mileage. Plus the motor felt just as strong as my 2011 does. It really made me feel that much more confident in my decision to buy a Titan over a F150. Looking forward to many years of enjoying my T.

Re: 100k mile Titan. Still strong!

I just hit 80,000 on my tow home yesterday. Truck is extremely solid. I agree that they seem to hold up better than other trucks with similar miles. Very few interior noises at all.

Rolled over 95k yesterday. Running great. I do need to clean my air filter and start thinking about changing the plugs. 2004

115k and going strong. I'll be towing the trailer with 3 dirt bikes, an ATV and a bed full of camping gear up into the Colorado hi-country in a couple of weeks with no worries at all.

Re: 100k mile Titan. Still strong!

My 04 is almost at 115k and still runs great. Did a radiator at 64k miles and new iridium spark plugs at 98k. Just as a reference I picked up 2mpg with just putting new plugs in it.

I wonder if you picked up the mpg because your old plugs were trash, or your new plugs are just really nice...

Re: 100k mile Titan. Still strong!

Could be a combination of both. I went from factory plugs to champion iridiums. I have run champion plugs in all my vehicles and have had good luck. I this k they were about $14 a piece.

Hey my 04 has 115k too! Still runs like a beast! Actually my T has sat in my driveway for almost 2 months because my wallet was getting tight on money so I left it sitting while I just drove the bike. I started to get sad leaving the truck all day so I fired her up this past weekend and had a blast again. lol
