Custom fiberglass Sub box and Bezel pics

Here are some pics of the sub box and bezels that will be for sale if anyone is interested, I have been using it this past week and it sounds awesome, you have your choice of 10" or 12" subs and it will fit the both cab styles, you can get it painted to match or primed ready for paint, lighted up or just plain, as far as cost goes it depends what you want but I will post the fabricators E mail and phone # tomorrow and he can take care of all questions. I can say this anyone from this post will receive a discount, I made this specifically for the Titan so we can have a sweet sounding system rather than the Crappy RF set up and still have it look better than stock.

They are Diamond subs and they are the shallower models, they fit well and they dont require much volume, I will be posting about 6 more pics on the shops web site of the enclosure and the bezel, I will get the link to that in the next day or so.

also 04LX, may I ask why you didnt design the sub to down fire--or is that too hard to do using glass (I have made kicks before with glass, but nothing as large as a sub box--so just curious)

oh yeah how much is that bezel, and may I ask why the deck is situated such that it protrudes out so much??

I had the subs firing up because they sounded MUCH better than facing down, the head unit is flush to the trim ring, I made it this way because it looked good with the burley knob set up we have, I will post some front view pics and you'll see, Dave at Deftonz car audio can make the Bezel to fit however you like, he's done my last few cars and he does a stand up job, very clean, very custom,And he has been doing this for a while so he has it dialed down. nows your chance to get a great sounding sub box with amp tray and the bezel to match without having to leave your ride with a shop for a week or so,give dave a call at 419-353-8669.
The head unit I installed is a Pannasonic premier P8MP.

Hey all I called Dave, and dude is a very nice guy, but out of respect for dude I wont post the price ( as you have to pay to play believe me) if you want it pm me or call him personally. but he quoted me $40 shipping (very reasonable) to CA

and said they can make it to fit, a round 10" or 12" woofer, or a 8" or 10" square woofer. the mounting depth is 6" and you have 0.5 cuft per sub. this is very important for those looking ito this box, choose you subs wisely as the only woofer that sond good in this small area are that I know of--btu there defintely could be more as I am not the end all be all in car audio or anything
1) image dynamics 10"
2) adire audio koda 10
3) resonant engineering re 8", or re 10"

but here may be more than can work well in .5 cu ft. thats all I know though

the box can be painted or not. the painted box is matched to the color code of you truck which I thought was really cool. there is 1" clearance from the sub to the bottom of the seat

the front bezel he quoted me at $100 which is darn nice price considering the stock piece is what $40 dollars. the bezel is fiberglass, and an be pianted to match you truck color code, or any color youd like if you have the color code. the deck can be situated however you want flush or out like the one posted here, and he also stated that he has the stock measurements for almost every deck--so you dont need to send it your deck

The 11KV2 subs state a .4 to .6 cu. ft. sealed box.

Hopefully they will be sending mine pretty soon.

I just called edesignaudio. They are supposed to be shipping the sub next week. Hopefully it will fit in the box I made. I was thinking about getting the new RF head unit per TSB before installing, but after seeing alot of "the dealer butchered my dash" posts and a couple of "it doesn't sound any better" posts, I think I will just go ahead and install, starting this weekend. I am getting alot of pressure from the wife to clear all the stuff off of the dining room table.

If you have a sub in mind let Dave know the box can be tweaked a bit to allow more volume if necc. The bezels will be $100.00, thats glassing it a lot of sanding , primered and painted, trust me its well worth it. As far as box pricing goes your looking at $600.00-650.00 depending on what you want, if you price out custom fiberglass boxes you will see this is very resonable, the good thing is we are making them all for the Titan, so your assured each one is dialed in. I have had some sweet set ups in the past and this by far sounds the best.

dave will be making some plexi glass trim rings for the sub box this may enable us to use a deeper sub woofer, I should have some pics this week, We are also looking at glassing over the piece right above the Bezel, maybe for a new speaker set up or navigation or a dvd player.
