A wise choice of a vehicle. Nice color too. How much did this forum help you decide to buy the Titan? This truck's power is very tempting to use all the time. Remember to break-in that powertrain for the first 1200 miles (see manual).

You all helped a great deal. When I first began looking at trucks, the Titan wasn't even in the discussion. It only took a test drive to win me over.Of course, bang for the buck was also important.

Bizzy,
I didn't find out about Titantalk until after I purchased my Titan so wasn't able to get help from other members. As with you, I wasn't considering the Titan at all until I read the Edmunds.com comparison test. I went and test drove one just to check it out and I was very impressed. Only by scoring a good deal financially was I finally able to dismiss the allure of the other manufacturer rebates and drive home a Titan.

I came accross this website by chance.I did a Google search for "Nissan Titan" and found out about the site that way.I was a lot like you in that the Titan was not my first choice.Believe me,I looked at everything except for the Dodge. It was only after more research ,which includes checking out this forum, and a test drive or three did I make up my mind.

I'm almost official.
We put a down payment on a Titan tonight. The way we wanted it, there's only two in the whole Country at a dealer so they have to bring it to our dealer. It's a Deep Water Blue SE crew cab 4x4, with the offroad package, big tow package, utility bed, DVD player, power captains chairs, cloth and we are getting factory bed rails and running boards added. I'll get pictures up as soon as we get it.

I guess I'm official as of today. I just took delivery of my new ride about 5 hours ago. (SE CC Pop/w bench/Util Bed/Big Tow.)

I guess I knew I was getting a Titan even before it had a name. I heard Nissan was working on a fulllsize truck when I bought my Frontier in 2001.

Silly as it sounds, that Frontier (alpine green, loaded, supercharger, crew cab) was the first vehilcle I've owned that I developed an emotional attachment to. I thought I'd be on top of the world when I bought the Titan, but half of me was pining for my fun-to-drive sweet green machine. Even my son was misty-eyed.

That said, he's enjoying the added legroom already. I have a loaner Titan from the dealership for the last couple of days, and while I always thought my Frontier had plenty of giddy-up, the Titan is just a whole other ball o' wax. Wow... the easy power is enough to intoxicate.

I'll always miss "Kermit" a little, but the Titan is easing the pain rather quickly with its own charms.
