What's your best Titan compliment story?

We've all gotten them, the compliments on our new Titans! But what compliment happened to you that really made you smile from ear to ear?

I've got a couple:

My first was when I was in Myrtle Beach,SC going down Hwy 17 and stopped at a light with my family of four on vacation. A fella on a Harley, a free sprit, pulled along side. My daughters start laughing and telling me this guy is really checking out the truck. I noticed he made his way slowly from the back to up along side me on the passenger side. He hollars at me "nice truck man" and gives me the thumbs-up. He just kept smiling and nodding his approval. Yep, I got that silly grin plastered on my face.

The second happened this week, the house across the street from me is being renovated. I came home for lunch and when I was backing out to leave one of the carpenters was out at his truck getting some tools. A sight I've passed on and off for the last four months (big rehab proj.). This time he waves me down and is joined by two of the other workers. His first words are " I know you've heard this before, but you've got one of the best looking trucks in this city! We've been over here watching you come and go. We really like the Titan". (They all are driving F150s and Rangers) From there I of course thanked them for the compliment and answered their questions. Yep, I got that silly grin on my face!

How about you, what are your most memorable compliments?

I have only had a few compliments from co-workers...which leaves me a little bit disappointed...cause right after I registered on TitanTalk, some of the people on here said that I would need to carry a big stick to keep the hot babes from trying to ride with me, and it just hasn't happened. Maybe I just need more mods...or some bling-bling wheels...
Oh, I do get the occasional look from other truck owners, but they have a hard time seeing anything but the back of my Titan...cause they can't keep up.

It was the afternoon of December 12th, 2003 when I got the call from Bankston Nissan of Irving that my truck was in. We had a Christmas party and from my reaction, everyone thought an emergency had occurred. I tried to keep my composure until the guests left, and jumped in the LS400 I was trading into the Titan and off we went.
That night after hours of negotiations, we finally signed the papers and got on the way home. My daughter was real thirsty, so I stopped at a Seven11. A guy in his silver QuadCab Hemi was getting gas(with his family in the truck). He saw us pull up and just left his truck and walked over and started talking to me. He really liked the Titan's exterior, shifter, interior, and of course the room inside.
Make a long story short, he got the name of my salesman and said he'll give him a call the next day.... he was sold! He told me how impressed he was with my Titan and wished us Merry Christmas.

This was was my first and best complement given the time and fashion it happened.

Well im 18 and still in highschool so some of theses stories have need that to be known lol

First was when i pulled up to a red light with my music all loud and then behind me i see a car pull up right behind me on my bumper (mind you this is at night) then they back up and pull up next to me. It was a COP!. He rolls down his window leans over and smiles "Nice truck buddy" i was shocked and almost messed my pants. the light turned green and the last thing he said was "have fun but be careful" lol that was crazy to me.

The second one was today when my parents were having our house windows looked at to get replaced. The guy said "WOW whoes Titan is that, thats a really nice truck is that yours?" my dad responds with "nah thats my sons, he just got it." the guys jaw drops and says "DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THOSE COST!?!..." my dad just laughs and says..."yup"

so far thats it...but ive had teh truck for about 4 days only.

I've had so many compliments for my truck, I lost count.

"one" of the most memorable experience was when i was showcasing my truck during one of the school rallies in lunch and got tons of feedback from everyone.

Another was when I got pulled over by 5 police cars and a helicopter for staying in a park too long laying in the bed with my date (They thought i was doing drugs or something). Oops, never again past 9:30pm! Probably had to explain more about the truck rather than the small violation of park rules. They searched all the compartments including the rear one and even sat inside the truck saying how comfy it is. Most of the officers loved it but some of them (chevy fans) still loved their truck better so I just nodded in agreement and left in a hurry.

Another was when I was lugging around furniture for my sister and a guy in a mustang pulls over and says, nice truck...By the way, you lost a couple of pillows in the intersection when you raced off. Went back and picked up the pieces and luckly nobody got hurt, whew.

The first night when I got my truck, some firefighters stopped me and asked some questions and complimented the truck. Got to know a lot of them which was cool.

and probably 100+ people asked in the gas stations....

Nobody on the street because i'm always in the front also. hehehe

I love my truck! Never knew it would bring so much entertainment just driving

I always fill up at my local Sams Club station and there is always a line. Invariably in that long wait, I catch a few people staring and once I get out and start fueling I get some questions about it. Yesterday the person asking the questions was a GMC sales manager filling up a Sierra and one of his responses was: "Yeah, I heard a lot of good things about those Titans and I've already lost a few sales to em'".

Now, the BEST compliment I've ever gotten was when I was in my driveway washing my Titan. This older gentlemen in a Frontier drives by, slams on his brakes, wheels around and stops next to my mailbox (never seen this guy before in my life). He gets out very deliberately and says "that is a nice truck" and from there he spends a half-hour asking me questions about it. Nice guy, and I swear I saw him driving around a Titan a couple weeks later.

The best compliment I've got was unspoken. I was driving north on Interstate 49 near Natchitoches, La in my new Titan in January and I could see two guys in a truck in my rear view mirror pointing at, drooling at and checking my truck out. They passed me going about 80 mph and then the driver turned his head 360 degrees like Linda Blair in the Exorcist to get a better look at the front of my truck. My wife was with me and she couldn't believe the guy's action at 80 mph! She said "guys really like to look at this truck huh?" I said "oh yes!'

I too, have had so many, I've kind of lost count

My first compliment came from a park ranger on the Oregon coast when we took our 32 foot travel trailer on it's maiden voyage, also the Titan's first tow. We had just backed the trailer into our RV spot, and with all the windows down so I could hear baby Q giving me guidance, I heard people whispering to each other, "Hey look, it's one of those new Titans......."
Than as we got the trailer settled in, my father-in-law pulled into our spot, parked, got out and went on and on about how nice the truck is, yadda yadda yadda. A park ranger shows up and explains that my father-in-law's car needs to be parked on pavement, as he's got two wheels on the dirt.......endangering waterlines, etc. We are very cooperative and I tell the guy we'll move it, no problem, when he totally backs up and says it's a small enough car if we can just get it a little more on the pad we'll be ok. He then starts asking me about the beast, how does it tow, it sure looks nice, you don't see too many of them, etc. Then at least 4 more guys came by in less than 24 hours time telling me how nice it looks, wow, did it really tow that big trailer, man I've read they are really built for towing.....the works.
I felt like a high school kid walking into my new school's first dance and all the chicks are checking me out, wondering who the new guy with the nice "package " is....lol!

I've had mine since Jan. 2nd so I can't even begin to remember all the comments I've gotten. It was literally months before I saw another one on the road which was kind of cool. I like to set the cruise on 65 just to see peoples reactions from time to time while riding down the highway, even to this day people will slow down, go literally 360' around the truck (this is while driving down the highway now), and then go speeding off.

One of my favorites though was from a guy sitting in a few Ford F-150 Lariat that he had all blinged out. He came over to my truck in Kroger parking lot and just started drooling and asking lots of questions. He kept saying how nice the truck looked and how he should have went to look at them before he bought his new Ford, next thing I know he hurriedly waves goodbye and hollers, "I'm off the Nissan Dealer" and speeds away. I thought that was classic!!

My first real compliment (not counting the dealership staff that showers you with compliments once they know they've made the sale) was on the way home from buying the truck. My wife had me stop at McDonalds since it was already late and we didn't want to cook. When I was waiting in the drive-thru line this guy was with his family in the little McDonalds playground right next to me. He shouts out, "I really like that truck" I said my thanks and watched in the mirror as he just kept staring. His wife's back was to me but she was shaking her head at him like there's no way you're getting a new truck. The best compliments though come from my daughter every time she rides in the back seat. She can't talk but giggles and laughs whenever I get on the gas.
See thread: My best Titan experience yet

Get lots of compliments and questions almost on a daily basis. Often feel like a Nissan Titan salesman.

Best one occurred last week while waiting to pick up my youngest daughter at a gymnastics class. Guy drives up with this real nice looking brand new F-150 Super Crew Lariat 4x4 with everything on it. Nice tan color, sharp looking truck.

I see him eyeing me in my Titan and he walks over. We begin to dicuss the truck, you know, how do you like it, etc. I love my Titan so I'm really enthusiastic, open up the doors have him get in, point out the features, discuss horse power and drive train. Another guy who is waiting to pick up his daughter comes over and we do the same drill.

At the end of it all, the guy with the Ford says, "I think I made a mistake."

Wow.
