What Does This Button Do?

There is a button down by where the fog lamps would be. It looks like a foot about to pressed on an accelerator. It also has arrows pointing up and down. What the heck does this thing do? Adjust the height of gas pedal?

Yes, it adjusts the height of the brake and gas pedals. Press and find out what it does, the truck won't blow up!

Its your power adjustable pedals. Moves the gas and brake pedal closer or farther away from you. I moved it all the way back and haven't touched it since.

I did. I tried adjusting it while driving and it didn't seem like it did anything.

The switch is disable while driving, since that could obviously be dangerous.

I don't think you can adjust it while the truck is in gear and/or moving. Try it while parked.

Ahhh, it will only adjust while sitting still (maybe in park) due to the safety concerns about adjusting pedal height while moving (understand that you can adjust your seat while moving, which seems to possess the same risk, I guess that is just how things are).

The adjuster won't work while the truck is in gear. Try it in park or with the engine not running. lol

has anyone found this useful? I don't see how it could be... Is anyone so short that they need to have the seat all the way up and still raise the pedals? If that's the case you should probably look at a smaller vehicle.

The adjustable pedals let shorter people sit a comfortable distance away from the steering wheel (and a safe distance away from the airbag), while still being able to reach the pedals.

Unless you want a truck...
Since you can't move the steering wheel fore and aft...it makes it so that you can move closer without having the steering wheel in your face, and then you can still reach the pedals....
Maybe the vertically challenged should all just drive go carts.... Put a little trailer behind it to haul groceries.

my wife uses it since she is much shorter than me and it saves me the pain of trying to get my seat back in the "sweet spot" again.
