Talking Another new owner

Well it seems Titans are selling well these past few days according to this forum.

I just picked mine up today. I had been looking for a new truck to replace my 96 Ranger Regular Cab 2WD. I agonized over all the full size models from the big three, Toyota and Nissan. After driving them all, I felt the Titan was the best. I love that motor! Hope I can be patient enough to get past that 1200 mile breakin.

I actually was able to drive the Dodge 1500 with Hemi, F-150 with 5.4 and Titan back to back. The Titan was clearly the winner with the Dodge being second. However, the Ford does seem to have a more car like ride, but I did want a truck. In case it will help anybody, I paid the invoice price as found on carsdirect.com. There was no haggling since they new I was serious on purchasing a new truck and they wanted to sell me one of theirs. They even let me get on their computer and go to carsdirect.com. This site matched their invoice to the penny. I was even able to go to edumunds.com and appraise my trade in. They didn't give me any hassles. One of the best experiences I have had in purchasing a vehicle. I feel I got a fair price and know they made something so they can stay in business.

I purchased an 04 SE Kingcab 4X4 with the big tow package, SE off road package, SE utility bed package, RF stereo with Power Captain and a few minor other options.

I look forward to reading about mods, solutions to problems and overall general advice.

Forums like these are great for us owners to make sure keep up to date on issues with our Titans. Thanks for having this forum.

I see a fellow member developed a nice looking leveling kit. I think this just might have to be my first mod.
