Talking Best Looking Truck?

Looks are subjective and quite frankly trucks are not that pretty. The way I determine which one is most desirebale is to ask my 5 year old son.

His favorite trucks are 1. Dodge Ram. 2. Hummer H3. 3. Chevy Avalanche, and Monster Trucks: Grave Digger & Prowler.

On looks alone these are our top 5:
1. Dodge Ram (classic)
2. Ford F150 (chiseled)
3. Hummer H3 (imposing)
4. Nissan Titan (rugged)
5. Toyota Tundra (pretty-boy)

What are your ratings?

I think, and so does he, that the Titan is a cool looking truck but just does not have it to be Mr. Universe.

TITAN does win the talent contest, though.

1. Nissan Titan (just nasty looking!!!)
2. Dodge Ram (would have won, but hate that nose!)
3. Toyota Tundra (pretty boy sums it up. some would say Girlie-Man )
4. Ford F-150 ( Nice looking, but just seems so boxy looking)
5. Hummer (please get this off the list, quintessential yuppie vehicle, der)

I will go ahead and disagree with you on this. I agree that dodge had the best design. I like the first redesign better than the new one. I like the new back end with the bigger tail lights, but the front got a little too bubble-like. I like the new ford front end but the overall body doesn't look right. The side has this wierd in and out indentation I can't get over. I also found the new deeper bed practical, but made backing up little harder. I really like the titan, but with the big tow mirrors it looks a little odd. Hummer looks good, but don't call it a truck! The bed looks no longer than the back of a Explorer sport track. They just took the roof off the back section. It doesn't even look any longer than the H2. My order would be:
1) Dodge(still reminds me of a big rig, even if it is bubble like)
2) Titan (tough front end great side flares OK tail gate)
3) Ford (fix the sides, too much side to match the deep bed)
4) Toyo (just average all around)
5) Chevey (didn't like them before sure as hell don't now)

H3)does not belong

...as to the Hummer. Yuppie toy indeed but there is no denying that every little boy has to have at least one in his collection.

Only problem is that we have 3 adult 'little boys' in our neighborhood already. Shame...

...gotta hand it to Nissan owners. We may not have the 'best looking' truck out there but we have the best all-rounder no doubt.

I have a colleague who will only buy Chevy. I showed him the result in a shootout where the Titan scored way ahead on 2nd placed F150/Tundra/Ram and last placed Chevy (which was labeled 'a has been'), he was still unconvinced. The GMC Sierra is a nice looking truck but...

The TITAN is "rugged".

For me:

1) Titan - buy a WIDE margain. Just love the looks of it!
2) F-150 - LAST YEARS MODEL. This years just doesn't look right to me. Preferred the smooth curves of the prior year models. Straight lines are harder to pull off. Althoguh, the Titan did it with FLYING colors!
3) Dodge Ram - Nice, but not crazy about the hood
4) Toyota
5) F-150 - THIS YEARS MODEL. Yuck....

Titan definately. althought the F150 FX4's not to bad. The dodge is ok, depending on the style. As for the H2, a worthless piece of crap to made to take money away from stupid people.

Here's my 2-cents, based entirely on looks:

1) Dodge - I think they have a fine style. Only thing a little wrong is the grill.
2) Titan - A close second. Obvioulsy, I like it a lot. I would make 2 improvements: (1) Raise the front-end a little. Not much, just a little. (2) lose the black plastic and make the B pillars out of steel to match the rest of the door.
3) 1993 Ranger with a 2" lift. I think that's a great looking truck.
4) I like a Fronty with a lift kit, too.
5) F150, but not all of them. I've seen a couple that look pretty sharp, but most of them look too boxy. I think it must be the FX4 that I like...two-tone paint, sits higher than the others. Actually, I like the looks of the older 150 better than the new one.
6) Tundra - Definitely "Plain Jane."
7/8) Chevy/GMC - nostalgic, to say the least.

1. Titan
2. F-150
3. Avalanche
4. Dodge RAM

I just can't stand the direction Dodge is taking it's new lineup (Ram, Durango, Caravan). It's gotta be that huge grill.

Wow you have a very practical son to put monster trucks behind a Ram and a Chevy. If you even whisper grave digger to my four year old he'd probably be running for the truck to go watch a rally.

No offense to any Ram owners, but the design of that truck spells r-e-d-n-e-c-k to me. Honestly, I like them, but I wouldn't want to own one(unless it were free, in which please pm me ;D). I don't care for the grill either.

Tundra looks really tame. I don't dislike it, but it's a little bland.

F-150 is kinda funky, but nice depending on tastes... much like the Ram.

Silverado looks pretty good, but I don't like how the front corners kinda come up on the 04's.

The Titan is alright.

Overall, of the new trucks, I don't see any particular styling that I PERSONALLY really like.
