removing overhead console
Hi all,
I am trying to remove my overhead console (no sunroof or DVD). I located 5 screws and removed them. Is there a trick to getting the console out now? Seems to be in there pretty good even with screws out. Figured I would ask befoer I got rough with it  |

i think there are some clips holding it in . maybe some of these guys that have had them out can tell you where they are.

Hey mike, all you have to do is gently pull one corner downward and the clip will snap free. Just work your way around the entire thing. Just be careful with it and it will come down without any problem. I pulled mine out when I hard wired my radar detector and it came out very easily once I removed the 5 screws you mentioned.
