From Infiniti G35 Sports Coupe to Titan!

Alright. Been a longtime lurker over on Fresh Alloy and got directed here after saying good-bye to my G35 buddies. Boy, will I miss that car. Reality and the need for functionality finally got the best of me. So, I'm now driving the best truck on the road. A beautiful pearl white LE with a big tow and mods soon to come. Drove it off the lot 2 days ago. Photos soon to come.

My first couple of mods will be adding splash guards and installing the Sirius SAT receiver I retrieved from my G35. It's the Clarion OEM Nissan receiver and I've been told that it will accept the same harness in the Titan. For some reason, I incorrectly thought the splash guards were standard on the LE. How difficult are these to install? It doesn't appear too bad from the looks of it.

Anyway, glad to be aboard and hope to find and share a plethora of information with you guys!

Welcome! I dunno if I could have given up a G35 myself...LOL

The Splash Guard install is pretty straight forward. Double-sided tape and a few screws is all.

Looking forward to the pics!

Good luck with your new truck. I had an Infiniti J30 for years, I absolutely cried the day I sold it, but I needed something more practical, too. My husband and I are still trying to decide between the Titan and Armada, but I know we'll be happy with whichever we go with.

I went from an RX-7 Turbo to my TITAN, and I've easily become accustomed and forgot about my RX-7!

You cant replace the feeling of sitting high off the road behind a powerful beast. The powertrain and the feeling of driving this truck makes it easy to love.

I gave up 2 cars for the Titan(because I had to have it the week it came out).
Sold my '96 300ZX and traded in my LS400.
It was all worth it since the Titan lived up to the numbers.

BTW, Welcome to this board. You'll learn more than you ever imagined about trucks here.
Did you get yours at Mckinney Nissan? They seem OK, I had my first oil change there not too long ago.

Last time I heard that was just before I left the Navy in 1968.
Loved those gedunk runs!

Welcome aboard.

Same here Colorado.
Gedunk, Welcome!! My favorite place on-board CVA's (Tech Rep for a bit also in 68-69.) was the gedunk. Enjoy the Titan, and looking forward to watching your mods evolve.

Glad to see some folks are familiar with the gedunk. That happens to be my vanity plates as well. It was originally applied to my G35 coupe as it was my gedunk. Now that'll have to transfer to a much larger (and healthier) gedunk.

Yes, I purchased at the brand new Nissan of McKinney. Pretty typical buying experience, but the service department appears to be at least a notch above average. No complaints.
