Question What's in your overhead compartments

I'm sitting here puzzled as to what can go in these overhead compartments (SE w/ no rear DVD or anything fancy like that). Obviously the first is for sunglasses, but the rest are oddly shaped and I was just wondering if anyone's found any clever uses for them.

I put my ear phones for the rear aduio where the dvd screen would be. Also holds a lot of cd's. My wife reads alot and I some time find a book in there. I found some candy bars left from my grand kids too.

Good question

Furthest front compartment is where I keep the garage door opener, haven't been able to program the on-board opener. Then it's cell phone in the small one, then sunglasses behind that one. The others I haven't used yet except for occasional paperwork like RV registration papers or trip related papers. I do know that my two kids seem to think the sleeves behind the front seats make excellent candy and snack wrapper depositories.

Haven't quite figured out what to do with the big ones at the rear. For a DVD display/player, they don't seem to angle down enough...making for viewing from toddler height in the back seat of the crew cab too low...not perpendicular to the screen. Haven't figured out what flavor of player I want to install yet. The front holder is for my tinted safety glasses...free from work so if they melt, no biggee. I did think of the heat and have decided not to store CD's up there.

I'm in Orlando... I had 5% tint on my S-10. I never was hassled over it but ocassionaly it was too dark when there was little light outside. How is the tint you have with the crew cab? I like it dark but with this truck I don't want to sacrafice visibility at night.

Thanks,
Tim

Xtra McDonalds napkins in one and Kleenex Juniors in the other. I took the Juniors out of the box first.

I am real happy with the tint I got. 5% is limo right? The guy said this is one step lighter then limo, 13 I think. Anyway not hard to see out at night at all and it matches the factory rear tint. very happy with it.

I keep my safety glasses in the first one (they actually fit), sunglasses in the next one, and then tissues in the third one. I've yet to find a good place other than the rear floor for my hard hat (might rig something up where it can hang from the bottom of the back seats when they're up or down). I agree with previous posts that you better not keep anything that can melt up there. My sunglasses have metal frames and they can get pretty toasty up there at times.
