Yesterday I went 4-wheeling(not with the titan) on the levies(C &D canal)..I see this guy walking..and waving his arms at me..so I ride over..turns out the guy has his Silverado HD 2500 4X4 buried in the mud..asks me if I can pull him out..1st I said no..didn't want to chance getting stuck, plus I would have to ride back to town and get my Titan ..then I see he has his wife and 2 kids with him..so being the nice guy I am(or try to be)..I say ok..be back in a few..so I get back to town..load 4wheeler in back..stop at cousins for a chain..he says..I'll follow you out in case your "rice burner gets stuck"..still don't know why you didn't buy a Dodge(he's a chrysler employee and has a quad cab 4 wheel drive with duals and everything else you can slap on it)..so we head out..well I'm leading through some bad slop..deep mud, water,it's getting bad and I'm starting to worry..but than I realize..hey this damn thing hasn't even bogged down once..so I keep going..I finally get to the Chevy..get out start looking at how I'm going to hook up etc..and I notice my cousin is MIA..no biggie maybe he didn't want to go through that last mudhole..so I hook up to the Chevy..and here comes cuz..walking..yep..he's stuck too! So now I'm laughing..I yank the the Chevy with no problem..and let me tell you he was buried..unhook..get my thanks..yada,yada..so I turn to get in my truck..and my cuz is like open the passenger door..so I say say your sorry to my truck 1st..LOL!! And he does..with a smile..so I pull him out..no problem..now these two guys are saying wow...that Titan is a beast..and I'm yup..and don't you forget it..wish I had a camera..I laughed all the way home and into the night..sorry for writing a book..just had to share..later all
Great Story D M , glad to see the Titan helping out 2 of the big 3

What a nice guy you were to help those in need. The pics would have been legendary - pulling both a Dodge and Chevy out of the mud in one day. Even better would have been a video of your cousin apologizing to your truck. Tell him he'll have to kiss the rear bumper of your Titan before you ever pull him out of trouble again.

Great story! Whats wrong with everyone driving Titan's? Just think of all the aftermarket stuff, and all them sorry domestic drivers "wandering" into Nissan.

Morale of this story: back up what you say.
Great story. My son calls me late a few Sunday's ago. He had gone camping with his family including 4 children 10 to 3yrs and his new trailer pulled by a 99 Suburban. On the way home stopped at Navajo Lake in SW Colorado and decided to go fishing. When he went to turn his rig around at the water's edge, he bogged down and it turned muddier under the dirt surface than it looked. His tires turned to doughnuts and wouldn't come out.
He was lucky his cell phone got out, by himself with the little ones and Titan to the rescue. I wasn't sure it would work. He was stuck in a turn when I got there. Hooked him up and pulled him out. Pretty easy and pretty cool. Titan with Big Tow and Off Road pkg. Left the VDC on. Can't wait to try it during the winter.
