RDS Display

I'm wondering if everybody else's radio display does this - There seems to be a lot of spelling errors on the display. The song title will be displayed but spelled wrong, same thing with the artist. Is this just errors introduced when it is broadcast or is there something else happening?

Also, for you satellite owners, is the display information correct all the time?

It is simply a case of interference when the information is sent over the radio waves. It usually corrects itself fairly quick.

The RDS updates slowly with new tunes and sometimes gets the artist wrong. Other times it takes minutes for the info to show up. Is this the radio station that controls how and when the RDS displays????

On my old radio the rds worked like a charm. no pauses or missed spelling. On the new tsb replacement radio I'm getting alot of scroll errors like l----e--d---- z-e ---love ect. And it's very slowwww to scroll ! It seems to happen on all of the channels that broadcast this type of signal.
I really dont understand why this as well as my ssv is not working on this new radio, makes me wonder what they did when they take some of these retruns as cores and try to do some repairs to them and end up screwing something else up in the process! They sould just be sending us all out Brand new radios in the first place not repaired ones!
This is what seems to have happened to me anyway.

I must be living in the wrong area of the country. My RDS only displays the nickname of the station.
