We're only going on a 9 month deployment to Guam So no multi cams for us, tried going to Afghanistan but they were only taking E-4 and below, offered me Iraq LOL but been there done that, time for something new.

The balls? LOL, I got a great deal from Chas so I couldn't let it slip and I have to send my Bilstein 5100's in for warranty so worked out perfect.

The boots in this pic are actually steel toe boots that us Engineer guys get issued, I'm just breaking them in because we will be required to wear them through out are deployment, I thought about those same Rocky's but ended up grabbing another pair of Danners and a set of BlackHawks, so far my favorite is the Oakley Assault boots and the Nike's.

That stinks. Yea my best friend went to Iraq and made it look fun. He is in Afghanistan now and said it was kicking his butt. Not sure if he meant terrain wise, weather, or just busier. I personally like the scarpa's.

I know some SF friends that wear them but if I was in, I like the these....

Iraq was in no way fun for me, I miss the Adrenaline rush though. Never seen any of those boots...

Yea, they're not your Bate's, Danner's, or Belleville's but more of a step up though the converse and Nike's are nice, just heard of some bottoms melting in some cases.

Damn we didn't get a sip of alcohol during deployment except for 2 beers the day of the Super Bowl Not sure about the melting issues.
