Okay guys/gals. i currently own a 2010 dodge ram 2500 with the diesel. I work at a dealership and have sold some things and now longer need the diesel so going back to a gas motor half ton truck. i work at dodge jeep chrysler however we have over 700 used cars on our lot. I have been test driving a 2011 nissan titan sv. it has all the tow package the rear differeental fin cover. has 3500 miles on it i love the truck here are my questions
i am still going to be pulling a 7x14 enclosed trailer how will this truck handle it and what is a relistic mpg i can get.
what is the best model of the titan to use for everday driving and i do alot of hunting and fishing and will be pulling the above mention enclosed trailer and a 20foot lowe 2072 jon boat or a 5x10 open trailer off and on.
just wanting to know the best model or what options i need to look for to do the things i want it to do. if i do get a titan i will be doing a intake and exhaust and possibly a chip and probaly an air bag setup in the rear just to help with the trailers i pull.
any help would be great. also what is a good price on this truck
2011 nisan titan sv flex fuel it is the chrome somthing edition with bucket seats all the chrome trim has 3500 miles on it 6 disc changer crew cab
The SV usually has the tow package but not the big tow package, you will be limited to about 7300 pounds of towing, but the Titan will handle it very well. It sounds like the items you will be towing are well within tne rating for the SV. Titans don't get the best mpg, but they are a hell of a lot of fun to drive. With the addition of an intake, exhaust, and tuner, you will see a marked improvement in hp and torque, however not much improvement in mpg. I would guess a good price would be in the 26-28k range, however 2012 are getting up to 8k in rebates, so a new one could be in that range too.
