windshield chips

I have a chip in my windshield that's about 1/2 the size of a dime. It isn't spidering out, but I want to take care of of it right away before any sudden northeast cold front comes in (upstate NY).

Any suggestions for a proper quick-sealer or something that doesn't involve replacing the entire windshield? thanks

most insurance companies can have that repaired at no cost to you, I had the same thing happen. the auto glass guy (Safelite) came right to my workplace and did it in the lot, took about 1/2 hr.

I have used a company called "NOVUS" a couple of times now with great success. They are actually franchises located all over. They will come right to your house or to work or wherever. Look in the yellow pages under glass replacement-auto.

Yea i got glass insurance best thing in the world esp upstate NY. Had my windsheild replaced 2 times in one year cost me nothung. Rob where upstate? Albany here
