Anyone try making their own end links? Thinking about doing it maybe with some pins for a quick disconnect. Anyone know how long stock end links are? I'd measure if I wasn't working.

If it flips again: Grab your jack, take the weight off, and flip it back. It only takes a couple minutes, and then you won't be grinding your endlinks on your wheels when you make turns.

Re: sway bar flipped, End links destroyed.

With the end links bent like that I doubt that it would stay upright for long if you managed to put it back.

With regard to quick disconnects I don't see that working well. There isn't any place (good) to move the sway bar to. I think if you rotated it so that the bolt holes were towards the front then it would stick down too far. Securing it so that it didn't rattle or cause damage would be challenging. Plus part of the end link would still be there and flopping around. Then again, maybe I don't see what you're seeing.

You just need to turn the sway bar all the way forward and zip tie it, (heavy duty long one like you find at Lowes or Home Depot), to the round bumper supports. I've done it for or week or two with my DRe's and again when I had my backup set of Bilsteins on. When I did it, my endlinks were removed, but they could be secured with zip ties easily enough.

I was going to do it today, (to try sans bar with my Radflos), but the Christmas lights took longer than I was planning. I'm considering doing the quick disconnect I posted the link to on the previous page, to Greg's endlinks, because at least with the DRe and the Bilsteins I prefered the on road cornering with the bar on.

Re: sway bar flipped, End links destroyed.

I considered making my own extended end links. then summer ran out and i came to chicago for school. just cut and add in an inch or so. hopefully the heat from welding doesnt fry your ball joints.

No sir the PRG endlinks will not fix the problem. I have a 4 inch spindle lift with PRG endlinks and when i turn shark my sway bar flips and dents my new PRG links. They look like sh*t now all dented. I made them long and they have not flipped but my turning now suffers cause they hit the links :sly:
