Led headlight accents don't look right on such a blocky vehicle. Gauge cluster and infotainment look ok, but the space to left of the wheel looks terrible. The headlight and four wheel drive know are to close, and look identical. I'm sure some one will mistakenly turn the wrong knob. I also hate that GM contours the oil pan around the oil filter. This design makes it a pain in the butt to grasp with any force or get a filter wrench on it.

I hate to say it, but the Sierra front end/bumper with those goofy pearl necklace LED lights makes it look like a Ridgeline on steroids. This new fad with LEDs the manufacturers have are making the uplevel trucks look garish and tacky. I didn't think it would happen, but finally the new Silverado looks better than the new Sierra for 2014.
I don't like the exterior door handles on the extended cabs though. The extra set of door handles really ruins the appearance of the extended cabs. I know they did this to create a B-pillar post to strengthen the side impact crash ratings and reduce squeaks and rattles, but look how small and difficult it's going to be to get in and out of that thing if you got to ride in the back seat. One thing I love about the reverse opening rear doors on the KC Titan is that you can open up the whole interior to load stuff in and out. And, it makes cleaning and vacuuming the interior a breeze. I got to give props to Toyota for designing the door handles on the double cabs to be as unobtrusive as possible. That was a well thought out design feature. If Nissan designs the next gen Titan to have those same ugly exterior door handles on the rear doors (of the king cabs) like they have on the crew cabs, I'm crossing the Titan off my shopping list if I ever need a new truck. People buy extended cabs for a reason and it's not just that they don't need the extra room or can't afford extra 2K sticker price to get a crew cab. They want a sporty looking truck that looks like a 2 door with a little extra room in the back. Having big butt ugly door handles attached to the rear doors on an extended cab spoils the look of the truck in my opinion. Keep the exterior door handles on the crew cabs only.

I'm the exact opposite. Hated the suicide doors on my KC because when karting around my drunk idiot buddies, the a$$hole riding shotgun would always shut his door at the exact same time the rear passenger idiot did and bang, all the time. One of the reasons why I didn't even look at the 2013 gm's ford's or even nissans, because the dodge quad cab is just the perfect size (for my needs), all doors open the right way, and I still get a 6' bed. All boils down to personal preference I guess

Yeah, there's been times when the front door and rear door closed at the same time and I luckily caught it just in time before anything happened. lol! I've sat in the rear seat of the '02-'08 generation Ram a few times and it's a pretty good struggle to get my feet/legs out of that small opening on the normal opening rear doors of the quad cab models. I guess for a kid it's easy, but anyone that is normal adult sized is going to have a problem.
In my Titan KC, I have no problem getting in & out when I open the rear door. The only thing is that the front door needs to be opened first before getting in/out and the cab structure is a lot weaker causing squeaks and rattles over time.
The thing is, they need to hide the freaking rear door handle somewhere so it doesn't look like a shortened crew cab. Nothing wrong with crew cabs, but not everyone wants a "four door" looking truck. It screams "family man" or "I have kids" if you know what I mean. I guess I'm a dying breed though. If they start making the next gen Titan king cabs look like shortened crew cabs, then I'm gone from Nissan. Toyota will be my only choice.
The Tundra is fugly, but at least they designed the rear door handles on the double cabs to look more integrated into the styling of the truck. Leave the four door look to the crew cabs/mega cabs.

agreed. I loved the KC titan for the ease of getting in and out of the rear seats and as you mentioned, cleaning and loading crap into the back seat. Huge engineering fail is the front seat belts being tied into the rear doors. Strangulation when the driver/ shotgun stays in the truck but lets someone in the back out...

Yea I don't like exposed rear door handles on extended cabs either. It takes away the sporty look of an extended cab truck. I think this is one thing Toyota did right, their extended cabs have front hinged rear doors but they integrated the rear door handles into the back pillar and are body color so they are hidden.

LOL. Somebody just said "sporty" and "truck" in the same sentence.
Trucks can be sporty, I know they will never drive like a sports car but some can have a sporty look and maybe have a bit better driving dynamics, kinda like Ram makes a Sport model.

You're not going to convince somebody with that's done SCCA autocross and track events that a truck is going to be sporty. I love trucks, but a chrome badge that says "sport" and some shiny wheels does not make it sporty.
I can give an exception to the Lightning and Ram SRT10.
This was the best looking Chevy truck model ever built.
I got a '52 I'm in the process of doing a resto-rod build. Those and the 55-57 chevys are the best looking trucks made to date IMO
