Hi,
I have been frequenting these forums for a while now and im on the verge of buying an SE 4x2. I am still debating over either crew cab or king cab. I am wondering if there is a huge difference in space between these. Can you fit a baby carseat in the back comfortably and safely? I have not yet gone to a dealership since I am still researching. Thanks!!
Go for a test drive. All your questions will be answered.
There is a TON of room in both styles with additional space in the CC at the expense of a little shorter bed.
You must be hard core if you can still be a Warrior fan. Talk about long suffering!

Well I havent got mine yet. However, when my wife, my kid and I went for a test drive. the crew cab is a much, much better for kids. We tried the king cab and my 2 yo was already kicking the back of the driver seat.
I am going with the crew cab... interior roon is more important than bed length.
I looked at every truck... dodge, ford, chevy, and nissan. And the titan has them all beat.
Let us know what you come up with.

Ditto...go with the crew.

The rear leg room in the CC is 7" more than the KC, also 13 additional cubic feet of interior vloume, but you do lose that in the bed. Personally, I've made my mine up to buy the CC when I do.
The CC is more practical but I like the sleekness of the KC with 2 visible doors and 2 rear hidden doors. I can still seat 6 adults with the front bench but the people in the back has their knees hitting the back of the front seat but not nearly as bad when I got in an extended cab dakota. But I would have went with the XE CC only for the power windows and door locks without any additional options. Very hard to find in my area. But like rcflier said, you do lose the larger bed. Oh, and to answer your question about the car seat, there should be no problem at all.
I got the KC since it is just me and my fiancee so I might as well get the longer bed. I like the looks of the longer bed a little better anyway, the smaller one on the CC looks stubby to me...that's just my opinion, not knocking the CCs....I still love them and they look great (just not as good as the KC heheheh :-P )

Top 10 Ways You Know You're a Hopeless Procrastinator:
I have a KC because I use my truck for work and need the 6.5' bed. I usually have to load and unload our daughter's bulky specialized car seat (she is disabled) about once per week. It installs with only a little more effort than in our minivan and she is able to sit comfortably. Tie downs (in seat and behind seat) are solid but you have to flip the seat-back forward to access the tie down behind it. I have the captain chairs so she sits in the center of the seat and has ample leg room, but if she sat near the sides we would have to make leg room by pushing the front seat forward (although we never put her near the sides for safety reasons). Crew cab has more room for a car seat or anyone else, but I have been impressed with the room in the KC not to mention how the rear doors open almost 180 degrees. This truck is safe and IMO is more family friendly than other trucks. We had more difficulty getting her and the car seat in and out of the Honda Passport I used to own. If possible, take the car seat with you when you test drive a Titan, that's what I did.

I would say that if you have people getting in and out of the back seat frequently the CC is more convenient. It sounds like you will be using the back seat more than I do and I wish that I had purchased the CC.
I perferred the looks of the KC as well as the price. The KC would have been fine for a forward facing car seat, but with another baby on the way I didn't think a rear facing seat woud fit well in the KC without having the front seat forward more than desired. So I went with the Crew Cab, which has more than an abundance of room for any style car seat.
